I wanted to start off by giving a big thank you for the feedback everyone gave yesterday -- and secondly, I want to clarify something. I'm probably going to give people PTSD flashbacks with this, but I'm not abandoning Gone Native. I'll finish the story even if it kills me. I'm still really excited for it, it's just putting pen to paper has been a bit tough lately.

With that out of the way, after sleeping on it and reading all of your suggestions, I think I've more or less decided on what to do.

Gone Native will be going on break for about two weeks and when it comes back, it will be a biweekly story for a little while. No solid timeline on how long it would be biweekly, but I don't think it would be that long comparatively. I know people recommended a full break, but I think this is a nice compromise that I want to test first.

To make up for the loss of content, I do have another story that will be posted on the days that Gone Native isn't. That way the Monday slot doesn't go unfilled. The story would go live on October 31st, next Monday.

Never Fade Away (Cyberpunk: Edgerunnners/Mass Effect) (Inspired Inventor). It was a snippet that ended up becoming a full-length story that I've been working on in my free time. Here is a link to the snippet itself: Link, though be warned, the first chapter has gone through some renditions. So, my schedule should look something like

Monday -- Gone Native/Never Fade Away (biweekly)

Tuesday -- Risk It All (biweekly)

Wednesday (Legends Never Die)

Thursday -- Castoff (biweekly)

Friday -- From the Ashes

Saturday -- Gacha God

Sunday -- Free

So, all I need is one more active story and I'll have one for every day. Never Fade Away would be a temp story in practice, like From the Ashes is. Though, depending on how well it does, I could try putting it on the roster.

On a final note, I want to thank everyone again for the support. I'm glad that so many people are still enjoying the story and that the issues that I've had didn't translate to paper for the most part. I think this is more or less the break that I need from the story, and once my batteries recharge, I really can't wait to bring Gone Native back full swing.

I'D enjoy a pokemon isekai story, guy has the entite wikipedia knowledge of the games, but almost nothing of the anime. Not knowing who Ash is except for the fact he's the anime protagonist. Learning the diff between the games and real life in the world.
