Hinata was reasonably certain that Neo, if that was her real name, didn't actually know how to drive. They blasted down the roads much faster than when Nero was behind the wheel. She refused to touch the stick that alerted other drivers that she was changing lanes in favor of weaving around cars, driving off of the road, and merging into traffic without looking.

There was a fierce grin that only grew larger as other cars announced their displeasure with honking, some of them making gestures that weren't likely polite in the rearview mirror. If anything, Neo seemed to thrive in the anger and chaos she was creating as she blew past a red light, which she was fairly certain meant to stop.

"Neo, please slow down. We don't want attention. There are a lot of things you don't know about this place, yet," Hinata requested, and was only faintly surprised when Neo sped up in response. They were close to entering the city -- a grand place with paved roads, buildings that stretched up to the sky...the only place that could be compared to this city was the village hidden in the rain, from what she heard. But, even then, it was impossible to imagine that her world had anything like this place.

Hinata’s grip tightened on the door as she turned to the smaller girl behind the wheel. Almost as soon as she had laid eyes on Neo, it was clear that she was going to be trouble. From her mannerisms, to how she moved, then she displayed an illusion ability that had shattered to glass, revealing that she had followed Nero upstairs. Now, instead of keeping a low profile like they needed, Neo instead of causing as much chaos as she could.

“Neo. Please slow down,” Hinata repeated, causing the other woman to look at her. Hinata met her gaze, refusing to back down from the issue. Already, they were out of their depth, and Nero was right to want to establish themselves before they entered into any kind of conflict. Neo kept driving, accelerating as she raced down a thankfully empty sidewalk for a moment to avoid a stoplight, weaving through traffic, before continuing on her way.

She was never one to use force, but it seemed that Neo wouldn’t be convinced any other way. The seatbelt constricted her mobility, as did the car, but Hinata was confident that she could land one strike that would knock her out. She simply had to wait for a moment to do it, else they would-

Neo smile grew -- it was a ferocious thing, curved and sharp enough to cut and filled with teeth. Without any warning, Neo slammed on the breaks, an awful screeching sound echoing throughout the city as smoke came off the wheels. Even as she lurched forward, Hinata’s gaze never left the mismatched girls. Neo seemed to enjoy herself as she sharply yanked on the wheel, making the car drift around until they came to an abrupt stop. Thanks to her active Byakugan, she saw that Neo parked perfectly inside the white lines that Nero parked in earlier.

That entire thing...it couldn’t happen again.

“I understand you might be upset that you were taken from your home. We all are. But there are forces that we cannot hope to defeat in this world -- in this city. Powerful aliens from space, magic, and so much more.” Neo’s interest seemed to be piqued at that, allowing Hinata to continue. “We’re trying to find a way back, but things will be complicated if we enter conflict with the heroes of this city. Please behave yourself.”

Hinata knew she made it sound too much of a request, but she didn’t have much experience being stern with people. Or any, really. Still, if the contemplative look on Neo’s face, she was at least considering it. Her head bounced side to side for a moment before she eventually nodded in acceptance. Hinata was glad for it.

“Neo…” Hinata began before she could stop herself, making the shorter girl glance at her, impatience quickly becoming clear when she didn’t continue. “When you came here, what were you doing?” She asked, trying to find the connection between all three of them. “Nero said he was killed in a car accident. I was killed in battle…”

Neo stared at her for a moment, tilting her head as if she were trying to tell if she were telling the truth. She pursed her lips, looking away from Hinata for a moment before a hand reached into her cleavage to retrieve a bar of some kind. Pulling them apart, though they were still connected with thin bars, she pressed a few buttons that brought up several cartoonish pictures.

A city. Fire. A skull and crossbones.

“I see. Someone destroyed your home as well,” Hinata realized, wondering if Nero was the odd one out...or if his home had been destroyed as well, had he simply hadn’t been aware. A look that Hinata couldn’t describe passed over Neo’s face, but she gave a curt nod all the same. She guessed...that people expressed grief in different ways. She had broken down, ran away from the house, only to come crawling back to cry her heart out when she realized she had no idea what to do and the rain only made things worse. Neo...drove recklessly.

“We’re going to do everything that we can to get you back to your world,” Hinata promised, trying to will the words into reality rather than a desperate hope that she wished for. “And, from what I understand, time travel is possible in this world as well. We could even find a way to go before the tragedies befell our homes. Please, just be strong and patient. We’ll find a way through this. I promise you Neo...and I never go back on my word.”

She still wasn’t over Naruto-kun. She doubted that she ever would be completely over him. But, right now, Hinata drew upon his optimism and resolve that she admired about him and tried her best to inspire the same confidence that he managed whenever she heard him say those words. However, Hinata didn’t think she was successful when Neo quickly looked away, scratching at her cheek before giving a quick nod as she got out of the car.

Hinata sighed softly, doing the same. Almost as soon as she exited the car, she heard sirens, likely belonging to the policing force that kept the peace in this city. She tensed as a car with flashing blue lights rounded the corner, her mind racing what she should do, only for the car to continue down the street. That…

Glancing to her right, Hinata saw that the car looked different. The body was blockier, the color was different and the plate with several numbers and letters had changed. She glanced at Neo to see her smirking. Curious, Hinata reached out and touched the car to see that it was a complete transformation. It felt no different than the car originally had. As she realized the implications of what she was seeing, she saw that she had changed as well.

Her straight black hair was a mane of wild curly blonde hair, her hoodie was gone -- replaced with a tube top, a short leather jacket that clung to her but wasn’t long enough to cover her belly button. Her hands went to cover it, mortified. The changes hadn’t stopped there either. She wore too-tight shorts that barely covered more than a pair of panties, a belt that was attached to a utility belt that served as a skirt, but her thighs were left exposed until just below the knees where a pair of brown boots covered her.

“Neo…!” No, this wouldn’t stand. There was so much of her that she wanted to cover that she would never be able to manage it with two hands. Even if it was a smart idea to disguise themselves, it would be on her terms and she wouldn’t be dressed like some… with a quiet huff, Hinata made a quick hand sign. She kept the appearance since it was unlike hers, but her purple and white hoodie and pants made a return.

Of all things, that seemed to catch Neo off guard, the color of her eyes switching as she blinked in surprise. Hinata smiled thinly at the girl. She knew she was grieving for her home, but that prank was rather cruel. “You should change your appearance as well. Do we have to worry about range or is there a time limit?” Hinata asked, trying to learn the specifics of her ability. Just in case.

Neo snapped out of her surprise, throwing on a wide grin as she shook her head. Then, without any warning, her appearance changed. Her brown and pink hair turned a reddish-orange, a bowler hat with a red ribbon on top. Her clothing changed a bit, her eyes became a warm green...perhaps it was simply because of Neo’s unique appearance, but it looked like someone else entirely was standing before her.

Unfurling her umbrella, Neo turned and interlocked their arms before she all but dragged Hinata forward. Her lips puckered as if she were whistling a tune, her umbrella spinning all the while.

Hinata could only hope that the rest of the shopping trip was less exciting that the trip here.

Neo laughed silently as she looked at the bright red face of Hinata, the taller girl made an attempt to dig her heels in, but it was a halfhearted attempt at best. She took in the sex toy shop, her face torn between fascination and horror -- Neo thought she was going to bust a rib. Then when the girl slumped over, actually passing out when her eyes landed on the biggest, veiniest, blackest dildo that had more in common with a table leg than a penis, and if it wasn’t for Neo keeping her up then she would have fallen flat on her face.

“N-Neo, we should leave! I-I don’t need anything from this kind of store,” Hinata insisted, making Neo roll her eyes. How very vanilla. And not in the good way. She held up her scroll, displaying her thoughts on that.

Skydiving. Jalapeno pepper. Newborn baby.

“Excitement is the spice of life?” Huh. She got it right. Interesting. Not interesting enough that it distracted her from the wonderous sex toys of every variety. Pointedly ignoring Hinata’s protests, Neo began to gather her favorites and ignored Hinata’s protests.

Because, even as those pouty lips said no, Hinata didn’t leave or put up a fight. Instead, her gaze darted around at the toys around.

Neo skipped through the shop, ignoring a cashier with too many tacky piercings. Every time she saw gages, she just wanted to hook her umbrella through the gap and pull. Her mismatched eyes roamed the contents -- from eggs, dildos, whips and chains, lube, flavored condoms and so much more.

Out of curiosity, Neo picked up an electric wand, pressing it to her hand and felt a jolt race through her. She didn’t have any use for the thing, but the look on Hinata’s face when she bought her every sex toy under the sun, and more than never saw the light of day would be worth it. Even better, you couldn’t refuse a gift and it wasn’t like it was her money that she was spending.

“Are you really going to use all of this?” Hinata muttered more to herself than Neo. She could have responded, but that would ruin the surprise. And watching Hinata’s reaction to what she picked was half of the fun.

With a shrug of her shoulders, Neo went about selecting her gifts. The kinkier the better. The cashier watched her load up a basket --- questionably shaped dildos, whips, chains, gags, the whole nine yards. Those two kids really seemed to go at it like rabbits if the sheer number of condoms were anything to go by.

Neo smirked to herself -- she still had more than a few questions, but she seemed to have lucked out. Nero had just about everything a girl could want -- His name was similar to her own, he was easy on the eyes, he had a big dick and enough money to treat a girl right. He did seem a bit slow, and she hadn't had a chance to see if he was funny yet, but, still, four out of six weren't bad. Especially when they were the most important four.

Her smile grew, which freaked out the cashier when she was checking out, and that was a plus in her book. Roman always preferred to be seen as the gentleman thief, ripped right out of a storybook. The kind that rich women wanted him to rob them just for the chance of conversation, or...

Roman…

Neo turned on her heel, casting an illusion so no one would see her wipe her eyes free of tears before she skipped back to Hinata. The girl was eyeing the bag like it was a landmine or something. Impressive really. She was going to town on Nero's dick like a champion, but one look at a giant dildo and she blushed like a schoolgirl. A cruel smirk tugged at her lips as she pulled out the electric wand as they left the shop, hidden by an illusion. It crackled to life for a short moment before she pressed the wand to the girls pussy and-

The reaction she expected for the girl to screech, gape like a fish and to cup her crotch protectively. Instead, Hinata's eyes flew open and that was her only warning before she sprung into action. Hinata lashed out with a hand that she wasn't prepared to dodge. Neo only felt two fingers hit her, yet it was like she was hit with a sack of bricks. Her aura protected her from the worst of it, and she recovered instantly, as well as replacing the illusion that was broken, but the prank was a lot less funny than she thought it'd be.

"N-Neo-san!" Hinata stuttered, apparently realizing that she wasn't under attack. Casting an illusion, Neo rubbed pain out of her chest -- that had been an attack. Who would have thought that she could dish out damage like that? Sure, she flashed a stance when Nero finally noticed that she was watching them, but given where they lived, Neo pegged both of them as rich kids with some martial arts training to convince themselves that they could take care of themselves.

To cut off her bitching, Neo shoved the bags into her arms, all too proud of herself. They bulged, and they weren’t tall enough to hide the absolutely monster cock dildo. Hinata swayed dangerously as she peered into the bags, prompting a laugh from her. That face was worth it all.

“Neo, please return all of...t-this!” Hinata pleaded in a half-whisper, glancing at the cashier that pretended that she wasn’t listening by playing on her phone. Neo simply smiled in response, holding the receipt and tearing it up. Now she had to keep them. “Neo, I don’t...what would I even…?!” Hinata muttered, gesturing to the bags, her face running hot.

Neo pulled out her scroll -- she could type out words, but where was the fun in that? To answer her question, she pressed a few emoji’s, using her semblance to alter them a tad.

A chili pepper. An upwards facing arrow. A man’s face with Nero’s eye color and hair. A woman that matched Hinata’s. An eggplant then white droplets.

Hinata was quick on the uptake, which was more than she could say for most because she instantly understood what she was saying. Spice up their sex life.

“We’ve- yesterday was the first time- today was the first time that I’ve ever…” Holy shit. The girl was a natural. Neo pressed a few emojis.

An eggplant, a face doing the O face, then a pro athlete.

“I do not...suck...things like a professional,” Hinata stuttered out. Huh. She was three for three. “And, we aren’t...me and Nero are just…” Oh, and there went her entertainment. The very last thing she wanted to deal with was teenage drama. The whole ‘will they won’t they’ crap was only amusing in her soap operas...which she couldn’t watch anymore. Yeah, someone is getting stabbed...and she left on a cliffhanger...

Still, Neo pointedly refused to accept the bag, and with the receipt ripped up, she couldn’t return it if she wanted to. She pushed past a frantic Hinata, stepping outside to bask in the dusk, the sky was a deep orange that told her it was nearing the sunset.

And with that parting gift, Neo vanished from sight. She looked behind her as she walked away to see Hinata’s reaction. The veins around her creepy white eyes bulged, doing something, but Neo didn’t have the faintest clue. Regardless, it didn’t seem to do any good. Neo’s illusions were as perfect as perfect got. She wasn’t arrogant enough to think that it was impossible to see through them, but it hadn’t happened yet.

Despite Hinata being unable to see her, Neo waved goodbye as she began to walk down the street. Since Hinata had her own illusions, which was pretty trippy, she wouldn’t have to worry about her illusions decaying before she got back to her boy toy. And if her illusions had a weakness, that would be it.

Her semblance was officially named Overactive Imagination. Anything that she could imagine, she could create. The only downside was that they were short lived and fragile. One good hit would break them like glass, and it didn’t take long for the illusions to start to fall apart naturally if she wasn’t constantly feeding them with aura. After enough time, the color would fade and the illusion would crumble away if she didn’t renew it.

Hardly the most powerful of semblances, but it served her well.

Neo sighed as she walked down the sidewalk, idly picking some guy’s pocket for his phone and wallet as she continued on her way. She amused herself with the thought of Hinata walking back to that fancy mansion with arms filled with sex toys. Hopefully, she would be so flustered that she wouldn’t think to cast an illusion over them.

After all, why would she stay with that Nero guy and his girl when she could set up her own place, steal their shit and make it her shit? She didn’t know them, much less trust them, so what reason did she have to stick with them? That way she would get the best of both worlds. She could even get a better place with a better view with some extortions and kidnappings.

Neo had one partner, and his name was Roman Torchwick. Everyone else could jump off a bridge for all she cared.

The hat that sat on her head was a heavy reminder that her partner was dead. Gone. All because of that bitch Cinder and Red Riding Hood. Neo clenched her jaw as she firmly secured the bowler hat on top of her head as she continued forward. One day, she was going to kill both of them for their hands in Roman’s death. And they would die screaming. Neo would make sure of it.

But that day was not today. Instead, first, she needed some fat stacks of lien to pave her way in this new world, then she was going to find her own way back to her world to gank those two bitches that got the only person that had ever given a damn about her killed. What Hinata said in the car was a concern, but Neo had her doubts. It sounded completely outlandish. If anything, it sounded like a lie to convince her to stay with them in the vain hope she would join them as they fucked on every surface in that house.

...Actually, on second thought, maybe that didn’t sound so bad.

Neo put a pin in the thought as she ‘Lexed’ to find a bank and pulled up a map that would take her there. Naturally, she made her own shortcuts -- cutting through grassy areas, jaywalking and the like. All the while, Neo began her own research into this new world. Shockingly, it was starting to check out.

This place was under the protection of heroes with powers that couldn’t be explained by semblances. Which was weird. Really weird. Weird enough that she kindled a faint hope that Hinata was right -- that she could go back in time before Roman was killed. Before Fire Bitch had rolled up to their hideout and gave Roman an ultimatum -- work for her or die.

As Neo entered the generic bank lobby, she planned how differently that conversation would go down. Aura had passive shielding, but nothing compared to active. All she had to do was sneak up on her during that conversation, blow out her knees and Fire Bitch would be hers to torment. Flame Bitch would suffer for years for what she did, and only once she was broken would Neo allow her to kill herself.

But, again, that was in the future. Right now, she had a bank to rob.

Neo whistled a silent tune as her eyes memorized the position of every camera in the lobby, lingering on the bank tellers protected by bulletproof glass, the door that separated the lobby from the tellers and the security guard that stood next to it. Nothing that she couldn’t deal with.

Casting an illusion over the security guard, she plucked his key to the door from him. Dropping that illusion, she cast another of the door remaining close when she unlocked the door and stepped through it. Now she was inside, she searched for the security room and the vault at the same time. The vault was easy enough to find given that it was a giant door made of stupidly thick steel to the point Neo was certain that she wouldn’t be able to brute force her way in even if that was her style.

That left her to find the security room. It took longer than it should have because she walked by it three or four times, mistaking it for a closet. To be fair, it looked like it was meant to be a closet and was repurposed into a security room. Even still, there were screens that displayed camera feeds and a fat security guard slumbering in his chair.

No convenient way to open the safe from here, or an easy way to learn the passcode. Annoying, but unsurprising. Neo punished the security guard for this transgression by undoing his shoelaces in the hopes that he would trip. Seeing that she would have to play the waiting game, Neo wandered out of the security office and into the breakroom where she went about entertaining herself.

Replacing the sugar with salt, helping herself to some ice cream that was in the community refrigerator, ignoring the large label of ‘property of Amy’ and some other mischief. Little things that would ruin someone’s day because she was in a petty mood. Thankfully, it didn’t take long for one of the employees to enter the vault to grab the contents of a safety deposit box.

Neo followed in after the bank teller, her gaze roaming the contents of the vault. Piles and piles of neatly stacked money, rows of safety deposit boxes...it wasn’t the largest bank that she had robbed, but it was up there. More than enough for her to get a leg up in this new world. With that thought in mind, Neo hovered around the woman as she grabbed a safety deposit box, paying close attention to the keys on a ring.

And when the bank teller left, Neo made no move to escape the vault once the large door closed. Instead, she cracked her neck and fingers before she casted an illusion over the security camera. Then started the long task of emptying the safety boxes and thumbing through the stacks of bills to get rid of those irritating ink bombs that would ruin her money.

So began the arduous task of going through the money and neatly stuffing it into duffle bags that she created. It would be a problem if they took a hit, but since she wasn’t planning on fighting, it should be fine. With well practiced ease, Neo thumbed through the stacks of bills to pick out the inkpackets and the trial and error task of finding which copy of a key went to what safety deposit box.

She wasn’t worried about getting locked in. And even if she was, then she only had to wait long enough before someone eventually opened the vault door for some reason or another. Or, failing that, she could fake a glitch with the camera and a security guard would investigate. Regardless, Neo would get out eventually.

Minutes ticked by as her money amount ticked higher and higher. Jewels were lifted from the deposit boxes, along with whatever struck her fancy. A pile of duffle bags slowly stacked up, filled with money and jewels. It was mindless work, which gave her too much time to let her mind wander.

Was this a bad idea? Neo asked herself, zipping up another duffle bag. Each illusion was fueled by her aura, so it was the limiting factor. Her scroll told her that she was just over half empty. Creating more and maintaining them was too big of a risk of running out of aura and getting caught.

Neo sighed silently, wondering if she should have stuck with Hinata. And that Nero guy. It wouldn’t have been a bad setup -- the place was nice, had a great view, Nero hot and had a nice dick, even if he was a little slow. Hiding money under his bed was a pretty good sign of that. Hinata was the more interesting with her creepy eyes, martial arts and the fact she could also cast illusions.

But they probably would have slowed her down. Both of them reeked of Lawful Goodness. Neo wouldn’t be able to do her thing without them nagging at her, and in the mood she was in, whoever naged her was going to get stabbed.

Eh. Too late to do anything about it now. If she changed her mind, then she could just go back and offer a duffle bag as an apology gift.

Neo was freed from the vault, and her thoughts, much faster than she thought she would be. Only it wasn’t in the manner that Neo expected. Her hands stilled when she heard the low groaning of steel behind her. A sound she recognized.

Really? Really? Some idiot was really trying to rob the bank she was in the middle of robbing?

Really?

As if to answer her question the vault door was ripped outward with a screech of metal tearing before several tons of steel was thrown to the side carelessly. The vault door ripped through the drywall, and it was only when the barrier was removed that she heard screaming coming from the outside.

That action alone told Neo that she shouldn’t get involved in this mess. Neo scooped up her bags and dove into the corner, sidestepping a massive red giant of a man as she let the illusion fall at the security camera.

“Alrighty! A- hey! Where’s all the money?!” The giant yelled, sounding shocked and Neo took that distraction to slip out of  the vault. Her gaze lingered on the utterly destroyed wall that the vault door tore through. Yeah, she wanted no part of that. With a distant cry of, “I need way more than this for my brotien,” Neo fled the building along with the bank tellers and customers. Her arms were stuffed with her duffle bags, four of them in total.

The jewelry would have to be fenced, but thanks to her shopping spree courtesy of Nero, Neo figured she had a couple hundred thousand in her bags. Maybe more, maybe less.

Neo glanced over her shoulder as she settled on a patch of grass on the other side of the street, curious. Sticking around at the scene of a crime was always asking for trouble, but she wanted to see these so-called heroes. Who were aliens and used magic and whatever crap she read on the internet.

“Neo-san,” a soft voice spoke to her before Neo felt someone touch her back. Neo flinched, her heart jumped to her throat. For a brief second, she wondered if she forgot to maintain her illusion, but that wasn’t the case.

Hinata stood behind her, looking like her usual self. Minus the face full of cum and the creepy white eyes, which were brown instead. For a moment, Neo thought that Hinata could see her. Her eyes were looking in her general direction and her hand was outstretched, but when Neo pulled away, Hinata missed her next touch.

That was a first. Neo didn’t care for that. She didn’t care for that at all. Still, better to find out from a...friendly, or whatever, than an enemy. Neo considered making like a banana and splitting, but instead she changed her illusion. Her face was still masked, but she hid the duffle bags from view. With a fake hand, she held up her hand with a sign on it displaying an exclamation point and a question mark.

Hinata blinked, as if considering answering her. “You don’t take into account the outcome for your illusions. The grass indentions, for example and when you choose to steal people's wallets and phones,” she explained. And...that made Neo’s eyes narrow.

Another question mark appeared on her sign.

“My kekkei genkai is the Bayakugan. I can see everything in a five kilometer radius and see through solid objects if they’re thin enough,” Hinata answered. Neo digested that for a moment -- she didn’t like that little revelation. Hinata could fight, see for miles around, and cast illusions? Neo knew it wasn’t likely a semblance, but how grab-bag could you get?

What’s more, Neo knew she was downplaying her abilities because that's what she did. Meaning that Hinata could see further than five kilometers. Which made her suspect that how Hinata had followed her wasn’t the whole truth either. Surprisingly underhanded of her.

And that changed things.

Neo eyes Hinata for a moment. Everything about her screamed demure goody two shoes that never broke a rule in her life. But, those powers of hers were undeniably useful.

“Neo-san, I understand wishing to run away. I did it myself for a time before I came back to Nero. I won’t ask you to stay if you don’t wish to, but...I would like it if you did. We are trying to find a way back to our homes and searching for what brought us here, but I believe we should work together to accomplish that goal,” Hinata stated.

That was very...genuine. And it didn’t exactly prove her wrong about her impression of Hinata.

Before she could give her answer, two figures dropped from the sky. A deep green animal that shifted into an equally green scrawny boy in a black and purple tights. The other was mostly a robot with a few patches of human skin that looked out of place with all of the cybernetics. One of his arms shifted into some kind of cannon as they took up position near the banks entrance.

The two said something to each other before the green one transformed into some kind of insect that flew into the building. Neo shared a glance with Hinata and to her surprise, Hinata gave a firm nod as they took up a position to watch the fight. Neo decided to take a risk and hid them from view -- she wasn’t looking for a fight so she didn’t have to worry about her aura reserves.

And if worse came to worst, then she would resume her original plan and bail on Hinata.

Her attention was brought back to the bank when she heard shouting coming from within, a split second before Adonis was thrown out of the building by an equally giant Goliath creature. Given that it was green, Neo was guessing that it was the scrawny boy from earlier. A neat semblance, or whatever it was called here.

“Dude, quit riding my dick! I need my brotien! How else am I going to maintain this sweet physique?” Adonis shouted, a large bag in his arms that was filled with her leftovers. Neo hoped that he grabbed those ink bombs. If her day was ruined then she wanted his ruined as well.

“Oh no, I’ve seen your skinny butt. A couple hundred thousand won’t do you any good. And did you just say brotien!?” Metal Guy shouted before he shot some kind of energy beam that reminded her of that Penny girl, who turned out to be a robot, that got sliced up by Pyrrha Nikos. By her own attack no less. What a way to go.

The deep blue energy beam slammed into Adonis, knocking him flat on his back but he was otherwise okay. The green one transformed, flying as a bug before he transformed back into the goliath-like creature that fell directly on top of Adonis. The asphalt buckled underneath the weight, a crater forming in the road, dust flying up in a cloud as a low groan could be heard.

Then a roar when Adonis threw off the Goliath-like creature. Adonis sprung to his feet, grabbing his bag of money, before he took off. Metal Guy fired shots at his retreating back before both him and Green Boy took off after them. Neo watched them until they disappeared down the street, idly thinking over what she just witnessed.

She could take them with the element of surprise. Metal Guy was a bad matchup for her without it. Too much metal and he was a long range fighter. Green Boy could be an issue with his senses, but she could handle him. Adonis was probably the worst of the bunch -- only his face was left exposed and he could throw around several ton vault doors like they were frisbees.

Neo glanced at Hinata to see that veins bulge around her eyes. A grim expression on her face. “They’re heading towards our vehicle,” Hinata informed with a frown. Neo’s gaze snapped to the direction that she had parked her car. And it was her car by virtue of her claiming it again after going back on her decision to bail on Hinata and Nero.

Her mind was made up. First Adonis ruins her heist and now he was taking his fight near her car? A sharp smile tugged at her lips as rage burned in her eyes. Neo couldn’t kill Fire Bitch or Red, but Adonis was a decent enough substitute for venting some of her anger on.

“We should go. But...Neo-san, we shouldn’t interfere in the fight,” Hinata spoke, proving herself to be a killjoy. “It could draw undue attention to us that we aren’t ready for,” she offered a reason and...fair enough, that was a decent reason. Neo still felt like stabbing someone, but so far Hinata hadn’t lied to her about what this world was capable of dishing out and she wasn’t willing to take that risk with a half empty aura bar.

Neo nodded, leaping down from the building with Hinata right behind her. She ran weird. Like, really weird. Her torso practically parallel to the ground with her hands fanned out behind her. Hinata was able to keep up with her with no difficulty, so as odd as it was to see, it seemed to work.

They ran through the busy streets, making their way back to her car. It took less than a minute to reach the street that she had parked at…

And given the day that she was having…

Her heist ruined because of some idiot. Taken from her home without any warning. The only person that she had ever trusted and the only person that had ever trusted her was killed…

It really shouldn’t have surprised her that the moment she turned the corner to load up her bags, it was the same moment that Green Boy was sent sailing through the air by Adonis and landed directly on top of her car, crushing it completely. Adonis followed the attack up by tacking Green Boy, who transformed into a Beringel to fight against Adonis, and sent both of them into another parked car as the fight raged but Neo wasn’t paying any attention.

They hadn’t done it on purpose. It was a complete accident. A really bad case of bad luck and parking in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Just like Roman. A random grimm ate him, attracted to his emotions. Given that there were next to no other people, his emotions were like a flame to a sky full of moths. And he died because of bad luck. Some would say that it was no one’s fault, but Neo wasn’t one of those some.

Red Bitch was responsible for dragging Roman into that mess and Red was responsible for fighting Roman and putting him in the position that he could be eaten.

Intentions mattered but results mattered more.

Adonis, Green Boy, Metal Man, Fire Bitch, and Red...none of them intended for what happened to happen. That didn't change the fact that her car was destroyed. Just like it didn't change the fact that Roman was dead

They sure as fuck were going to pay for it, though.

Neo snarled, dropping her bags of loot as her hand twitched to her umbrella. As uttey furious as Neo was, Hinata wasn't wrong that they didn't need attention. And since compromises made the world go round, Neo compromised.

She would kick the shit out of them in a way that wouldn't trace back to them. And as if the universe chose to reward her for her abundance of generosity, Neo's mismatched eyes landed on a very convenient weapon.

Neo darted forward, masking her presence as she scooped up the largest, blackest, veiniest dildo in existence and some lube that was blasted out of her car when it was crushed. For a moment, she was struck with indecisiveness -- how did she wield such a mighty weapon? Grip it by the head and use the balls as a club or at the base and use the massive cock as a sword?

In the end, Neo stuck with what she knew. Brandishing the dildo as a two-handed sword, else her dainty hands wouldn't be able to wield it. Nearing the combat, her attention zeored in on Metal Guy first. He was still her worst matchup even if she wanted to take out the other two first.

"What-" he managed to say before she squirted cherry flavored lube into his human eye. He flinched, a metal hand going to his face, but not before she continued her attack. That robot eye had to go. With that thought in mind, Neo jumped upward, spinning in the air before she lashed out with a foot -- her heels slammed into the glowing red eye and she heard the satisfying sound of glass breaking.

Metal man's shout of pain alerted Green Boy to her presence. "Dude!" He shouted, alarmed as Neo calmly strode towards the two that had wrecked her car. She dragged the tip of the dildo on the ground, and she even gave a few sparks for flare. Adonis and Green Boy shared a look, Adonis shrugging before Green Boy swallowed thickly. "W-what are you planning to do with that?"

Neo smiled in response as her gaze drifted over to Hinata. Oh, she looked absolutely pissed, but she wasn't leaving. Or jumping in. And that…

She was going to make it up to her, Neo decided. Somehow. If only because Hinata didn't abandon her despite Neo giving her every reason to.

Refocusing in the fight, Neo sprinted forward, closing the distance between them in the blink of an eye. Green Boy started to transform, but there was a split second of an opening. Neo slammed her massive cock into his stomach hard enough that he doubled over. The transformation stopped. Even better, he began to revert to his human form. Pivoting on her heel, Neo cockslapped Green Boy hard enough that his head snapped to the side, blood flying from his mouth. He didn't have a semblance. She had to keep that in mind, but she fought against enough civilians to know how much of her strength to use.

To Green Boy's credit, he recovered well. As his head jerked to the side, he spun. A tail emerged as he shifted into another animal, and using the momentum she was so generous to give him, he nearly slammed the growing tail into her stomach. He missed by inches as she dodged the attack with a lazy back handspring before she stood on her feet and brought her mighty black cock into Green Boy's face as he completed a spin.

"Ugh!" He grunted in pain as some sort of lion creature, accepting the blow as he lashed out with a massive claw. Neo smiled in response, deftly dodging the swipe as she took aim with her cherry lube. Green Boy's eyes widened when he realized what was about to happen. Which was a mistake when she shot cherry lube into his eyes and nostrils. He jerked backward, expecting a follow-up that never came. Instead, her gaze landed on her final target of the evening.

"Uh, thanks for the help?" Adonis started questioningly. Then his face broke into a wide smile. "Heh! I'd never thought I'd ever get any groupies, much less a smokin' hot dangerous babe like you- urrghk!"

He was still smiling when Neo cockslapoed him, then followed that up with a punch that flattened his nose. Then another punch. Adonis went down, his back hitting a minivan, stunned. Neo used that opeining to switch between beating the fuck out of him with her fists and cock. His pale face weathered her blows -- his eyes swelled, cuts forming, his nose flattening and his lips bleeding. For such a massive guy, he went down like a little bitch.

"Who- Who are you!" Metal Guy shouted, taking aim at her, and that was the only thing that stopped her from continuing. Probably to beat him to death. Neo stared down the barrel of the gun, her heart pounding in her chest. Her sharp grin grew into a wide smile as the glow brightened, a shot incoming.

Then the sight was blocked by someone stepping in the way. Hinata. Who was even carrying her bags. She wore the getup Neo put her in earlier, a copy of Red's bimbo sister.

"Please forgive my teammates actions today. She acted rashly because of personal reasons," Hinata said, dipping into a bow as Metal Guy's one working eye narrowed.

"Teammate? Listen, I need you to explain this entire situation to me. I appreciate the help with Adonis, even if your teammate went way overboard, but why I'm I tasting cherries?!" Metal Guy asked for an answer. Instead of answering, Hinata rose from her bow and turned to look at Neo.

Neo found herself looking away. An emotion raising in her chest that she didn't feel often. It at all really.

Shame.

"Brace yourself," Hinata warned, reaching out with a hand-

Neo didn't know how to describe what happened next. One moment she's standing in the middle of a wrecked street, and the next they're standing next to the infinity pool at the mansion looking at the horizon. Only the transition was like...riding the most intense roller coaster ever to exist a hundred times while drunk.

Neo took in the view, the duffle bags collapsing into a cloud of money and jewels before Neo found herself staring at the ground as her stomach rebelled.

At the very least, Neo started to repay her debt to Hinata by making her puke look like rainbows instead of melted ice cream.

Well, it's... more fleshed out. But I don't think it really needed it.

The goal was to flesh out Neo's character and to provide context for her actions. So, rather than a frothing at the mouth psychopath, I was hoping I made it clear that Neo was self-destructing. The one person she ever cared for is dead and she can't even get vengeance for his death. I won't say she was trying to commit suicide or anything but her mentality was 'fuck it.' I was also hoping to show off that she does have good points. Like her intense sense of loyalty the moment Hinata decided to not cut her loose even though it was objectively the smarter option. Or how methodical she was with robbing the bank. It also displays what abilities she offers to the team because those abilities come with a ruthlessness that someone like Hinata doesn't have. And it establishes something -- Neo is staying because of Hinata rather than Nero. Neo believes that she owesHinata for not leaving her, so Neo is going to start helping Hinata out with certain things. Or, from a certain point of view, HALPING.

I like it, it dose help with her character development, and I know very little about neo so always a good thing
