Hinata was reasonably certain that Neo, if that was her real name, didn't actually know how to drive. They blasted down the roads much faster than when Nero was behind the wheel. She refused to touch the stick that alerted other drivers that she was changing lanes in favor of weaving around cars, driving off of the road, and merging into traffic without looking.

There was a fierce grin that only grew larger as other cars announced their displeasure with honking, some of them making gestures that weren't likely polite in the rearview mirror. If anything, Neo seemed to thrive in the anger and chaos she was creating as she blew past a red light, which she was fairly certain meant to stop.

"Neo, please slow down. We don't want attention. There are a lot of things you don't know about this place, yet," Hinata requested, and was only faintly surprised when Neo sped up in response. They were close to entering the city -- a grand place with paved roads, buildings that stretched up to the sky...the only place that could be compared to this city was the village hidden in the rain, from what she heard. But, even then, it was impossible to imagine that her world had anything like this place.

Hinata’s grip tightened on the door as she turned to the smaller girl behind the wheel. Almost as soon as she had laid eyes on Neo, it was clear that she was going to be trouble. From her mannerisms, to how she moved, then she displayed an illusion ability that had shattered to glass, revealing that she had followed Nero upstairs. Now, instead of keeping a low profile like they needed, Neo instead of causing as much chaos as she could.

“Neo. Please slow down,” Hinata repeated, causing the other woman to look at her. Hinata met her gaze, refusing to back down from the issue. Already, they were out of their depth, and Nero was right to want to establish themselves before they entered into any kind of conflict. Neo kept driving, accelerating as she raced down a thankfully empty sidewalk for a moment to avoid a stoplight, weaving through traffic, before continuing on her way.

She was never one to use force, but it seemed that Neo wouldn’t be convinced any other way. The seatbelt constricted her mobility, as did the car, but Hinata was confident that she could land one strike that would knock her out. She simply had to wait for a moment to do it, else they would-

Neo smile grew -- it was a ferocious thing, curved and sharp enough to cut and filled with teeth. Without any warning, Neo slammed on the breaks, an awful screeching sound echoing throughout the city as smoke came off the wheels. Even as she lurched forward, Hinata’s gaze never left the mismatched girls. Neo seemed to enjoy herself as she sharply yanked on the wheel, making the car drift around until they came to an abrupt stop. Thanks to her active Byakugan, she saw that Neo parked perfectly inside the white lines that Nero parked in earlier.

That entire thing...it couldn’t happen again.

“I understand you might be upset that you were taken from your home. We all are. But there are forces that we cannot hope to defeat in this world -- in this city. Powerful aliens from space, magic, and so much more.” Neo’s interest seemed to be piqued at that, allowing Hinata to continue. “We’re trying to find a way back, but things will be complicated if we enter conflict with the heroes of this city. Please behave yourself.”

Hinata knew she made it sound too much of a request, but she didn’t have much experience being stern with people. Or any, really. Still, if the contemplative look on Neo’s face, she was at least considering it. Her head bounced side to side for a moment before she eventually nodded in acceptance. Hinata was glad for it.

“Neo…” Hinata began before she could stop herself, making the shorter girl glance at her, impatience quickly becoming clear when she didn’t continue. “When you came here, what were you doing?” She asked, trying to find the connection between all three of them. “Nero said he was killed in a car accident. I was killed in battle…”

Neo stared at her for a moment, tilting her head as if she were trying to tell if she were telling the truth. She pursed her lips, looking away from Hinata for a moment before a hand reached into her cleavage to retrieve a bar of some kind. Pulling them apart, though they were still connected with thin bars, she pressed a few buttons that brought up several cartoonish pictures.

A city. Fire. A skull and crossbones.

“I see. Someone destroyed your home as well,” Hinata realized, wondering if Nero was the odd one out...or if his home had been destroyed as well, had he simply hadn’t been aware. A look that Hinata couldn’t describe passed over Neo’s face, but she gave a curt nod all the same. She guessed...that people expressed grief in different ways. She had broken down, ran away from the house, only to come crawling back to cry her heart out when she realized she had no idea what to do and the rain only made things worse. Neo...drove recklessly.

“We’re going to do everything that we can to get you back to your world,” Hinata promised, trying to will the words into reality rather than a desperate hope that she wished for. “And, from what I understand, time travel is possible in this world as well. We could even find a way to go before the tragedies befell our homes. Please, just be strong and patient. We’ll find a way through this. I promise you Neo...and I never go back on my word.”

She still wasn’t over Naruto-kun. She doubted that she ever would be completely over him. But, right now, Hinata drew upon his optimism and resolve that she admired about him and tried her best to inspire the same confidence that he managed whenever she heard him say those words. However, Hinata didn’t think she was successful when Neo quickly looked away, scratching at her cheek before giving a quick nod as she got out of the car.

Hinata sighed softly, doing the same. Almost as soon as she exited the car, she heard sirens, likely belonging to the policing force that kept the peace in this city. She tensed as a car with flashing blue lights rounded the corner, her mind racing what she should do, only for the car to continue down the street. That…

Glancing to her right, Hinata saw that the car looked different. The body was blockier, the color was different and the plate with several numbers and letters had changed. She glanced at Neo to see her smirking. Curious, Hinata reached out and touched the car to see that it was a complete transformation. It felt no different than the car originally had. As she realized the implications of what she was seeing, she saw that she had changed as well.

Her straight black hair was a mane of wild curly blonde hair, her hoodie was gone -- replaced with a tube top, a short leather jacket that clung to her but wasn’t long enough to cover her belly button. Her hands went to cover it, mortified. The changes hadn’t stopped there either. She wore too-tight shorts that barely covered more than a pair of panties, a belt that was attached to a utility belt that served as a skirt, but her thighs were left exposed until just below the knees where a pair of brown boots covered her.

“Neo…!” No, this wouldn’t stand. There was so much of her that she wanted to cover that she would never be able to manage it with two hands. Even if it was a smart idea to disguise themselves, it would be on her terms and she wouldn’t be dressed like some… with a quiet huff, Hinata made a quick hand sign. She kept the appearance since it was unlike hers, but her purple and white hoodie and pants made a return.

Of all things, that seemed to catch Neo off guard, the color of her eyes switching as she blinked in surprise. Hinata smiled thinly at the girl. She knew she was grieving for her home, but that prank was rather cruel. “You should change your appearance as well. Do we have to worry about range or is there a time limit?” Hinata asked, trying to learn the specifics of her ability. Just in case.

Neo snapped out of her surprise, throwing on a wide grin as she shook her head. Then, without any warning, her appearance changed. Her brown and pink hair turned a reddish-orange, a bowler hat with a red ribbon on top. Her clothing changed a bit, her eyes became a warm green...perhaps it was simply because of Neo’s unique appearance, but it looked like someone else entirely was standing before her.

Unferaling her umbrella, Neo turned and interlocked their arms before she all but dragged Hinata forward. Her lips puckered as if she were whistling a tune, her umbrella spinning all the while.

Hinata could only hope that the rest of the shopping trip was less exciting that the trip here.

Neo laughed silently as she looked at the bright red face of Hinata, the taller girl made an attempt to dig her heels in, but it was a halfhearted attempt at best. She took in the sex toy shop, her face torn between fascination and horror -- Neo thought she was going to bust a rib. Then when the girl slumped over, actually passing out when her eyes landed on the biggest, veiniest, blackest dildo that had more in common with a table leg than a penis, and if it wasn’t for Neo keeping her up then she would have fallen flat on her face.

“N-Neo, we should leave! I-I don’t need anything from this kind of store,” Hinata insisted, making Neo roll her eyes. How very vanilla. And not in the good way. She held up her scroll, displaying her thoughts on that.

Skydiving. Jalapeno pepper. New born baby.

“Excitement is the spice of life?” Huh. She got it right. Interesting. Not intresting enough that it distracted her from the wonderous sex toys of every varity. Pointedly ignoring Hinata’s protests, Neo began to gather her favorites, and ignored Hinata’s protests.

Because, even as those pouty lips said no, Hinata didn’t leave or put up a fight. Instead, her gaze darted around at the toys around.

Neo skipped through the shop, ignoring a cashier with too many tacky piercings. Every time she saw gages, she just wanted to hook her umbrella through the gap and pull. Her mismatched eyes roamed the contents -- from eggs, dildos, whips and chains, lube, flavored condoms and so much more.

Out of curiosity, Neo picked up an electric wand, pressing it to her hand and felt a jolt race through her. She didn’t have any use for the thing, but the look on Hinata’s face when she bought her every sex toy under the sun, and more than never saw the light of day would be worth it. Even better, you couldn’t refuse a gift and it wasn’t like it was her money that she was spending.

“Are you really going to use all of this?” Hinata muttered more to herself than Neo. She could have responded, but that would ruin the surprise. And watching Hinata’s reaction to what she picked was half of the fun.

With a shrug of her shoulders, Neo went about selecting her gifts. The kinkier the better. The cashier watched her load up a basket --- questionably shaped dildos, whips, chains, gags, the whole nine yards. Those two kids really seemed to go at it like rabbits if the sheer number of condoms were anything to go by.

Neo smirked to herself -- she still had more than a few questions, but she seemed to have lucked out. Nero had just about everything a girl could want -- His name was similar to her own, he was easy on the eyes, he had a big dick and enough money to treat a girl right. He did seem a bit slow, and she hadn't had a chance to see if he was funny yet, but, still, four out of six weren't bad. Especially when they were the most important four.

Her smile grew, which freaked out the cashier when she was checking out, and that was a plus in her book. For now, she would kick her feet up and be pampered until she could go back to her world. Then she was going to kill that Cinder bitch, Red, and everyone else that got in her way. If time travel really was a thing here, then if she went back far enough, she could kill Cinder before she had a chance to grab Roman by the balls…

Roman…

Neo turned on her heel, casting an illusion so no one would see her wipe her eyes free of tears before she skipped back to Hinata. The girl was eyeing the bag like it was a landmine, or something. Impressive really. She was going to town on Nero's dick like a champion, but one look at a giant dildo and she blushed like a school girl. A cruel smirk tugged at her lips as she pulled out the electric wand as they left the shop, hidden by an illusion. It crackled to life for a short moment before she pressed the wand to the girls pussy and-

The reaction she expected for the girl to screech, gape like a fish and to cup her crotch protectively. Instead, Hinata's eyes flew open and that was her only warning before she sprung into action. Hinata lashed out with a hand that she wasn't prepared to dodge. Neo only felt two fingers hot her, yet it was like she was hit with a sack of bricks. Her aura protected her from the worst of it, and she recovered instantly, but the prank was a lot less funny than she thought it'd be.

"N-Neo-san!" Hinata stuttered, apparently realizing that she wasn't under attack. Casting an illusion, Neo rubbed pain out of her chest -- that had been an attack. Who would have thought that she could dish out damage like that? Sure, she flashed a stance when Nero finally noticed that she was watching them, but given where they lived, Neo pegged both of them as rich kids with some martial arts training to convince themselves that they could take care of themselves.

To cut off her bitching, Neo shoved the bags into her arms, all too proud of herself. They bulged, and they weren’t tall enough to hide the absolutely monster cock dildo. Hinata swayed dangerously as she peered into the bags, prompting a laugh from her. That face was worth it all.

“Neo, please return all of...t-this!” Hinata pleaded in a half-whisper, glancing at the cashier that pretended that she wasn’t listening by playing on her phone. Neo simply smiled in response, holding the receipt and tearing it up. Now she had to keep them. “Neo, I don’t...what would I even…?!” Hinata muttered, gesturing to the bags, her face running hot.

Neo pulled out her scroll -- she could type out words, but where was the fun in that. To answer her question, she pressed a few emoji’s, using her semblance to alter them a tad.

A chili pepper. An upwards facing arrow. A man’s face with Nero’s eye color and hair. A woman that matched Hinata’s. An eggplant then white droplets.

Hinata was quick on the uptake, which was more than she could say for most because she instantly understood what she was saying. Spice up their sex life.

“We’ve- yesterday was the first time- today was the first time that I’ve ever…” Holy shit. The girl was a natural. Neo pressed a few emoji’s.

An eggplant, a face doing the O face, then a pro athlete.

“I do not...suck...things like a professional,” Hinata stuttered out. Huh. She was three for three. “And, we aren’t...me and Nero are just…” Oh, and there went her entertainment. The very last thing she wanted to deal with was teenage drama. The whole ‘will they won’t they’ crap was only amusing in her soap operas...which she couldn’t watch anymore. Yah, someone is getting stabbed...and she left on a cliffhanger...

Still, Neo pointedly refused to accept the bag, and with the receipt ripped up, she couldn’t return it if she wanted to. She pushed past a frantic Hinata, stepping outside to bask in the dusk, the sky was a deep orange that told her it was nearing the sunset.

Hinata followed her, but with a quick hand movement, the contents of the bags changed. Her eyes narrowed -- that wasn’t a semblance. It was almost like her own semblance, eerily so. She started to pull out her scroll to ask what was up with that.

Neo’s attention was interpreted when a loud crash echoed down the street. Glancing over, she saw some kind of laser beam that reminded her of that robot girl. “There’s someone coming,” Hinata pointlessly pointed out a moment before a large man came barreling down the street, a half dozen duffle bags in his arms, each. He was dressed in large red armor that put him nearly twelve feet tall, and he was absolutely stacked.

“I need my brotien, dude! Quit riding my dick like this,” he shouted, jumping into the air, flipping as his pursuers rounded the corner. He proved that he weighed a ton because the front of the car he landed on found itself turned into a pancake.

“I’ve seen your skinny butt -- a couple hundred thousand won’t do much for you,” a man shouted, most of his body made of metal, so it made the pieces that weren’t look out of place. He took aim, his arm some kind of cannon, that fired a blue beam of some kind of light that slammed into the red guy’s back. “And did you seriously just say brotien?!”

A green animal flew above, transforming into something that resembled a goliath, except green, before slamming into the red guy. Red guy flew across the street, unharmed. Neo knew that much since he seemed more preoccupied with keeping his bags secured. And did she hear hundreds of thousands?

Honestly, Neo was starting to rather like this world. Entertainment and money were just dropping into her lap since she got here.

“We shouldn’t get involved,” Hinata muttered lowly into her ear, being an absolute killjoy. “We need more information before we take any sides. The metal man and green animal are members of the Teen Titans, but we don’t know-” Neo stopped listening as Hinata continued, unaware that she was speaking to an illusion.

The Red Guy picked himself up while Hinata was yapping, going to clash with the green goliath head-on. To her surprise, he won by grabbing it by the trunk, pivoting and using its own momentum against it to throw it into a building. The entire thing didn’t collapse, or anything, but the front of a nail salon was busted inwards, dust flying up as brick and glass broke.

Neo strode forward, grabbing the monstrously huge dildo as she passed Hinata by, replacing it with her umbrella. As annoying as Hinata was being about spoiling her fun, she wasn’t wrong when she said anonymity was a blessing. Having a reputation for being the best is how you end up with Bitches like Cinder coming to your door with ultimatums. So, using her umbrella would make it possible to make that connection.

Using a massive, veiny dildo, on the other hand? That was fair game. Her only problem was that she wasn’t sure if she should grip it at the base, or use those massive balls as a club. Deciding to stick with what was familiar, she gripped the dildo at the base as she ran forward. The robot guy fired a blast at Red Guy, the stuff washing over his back as he huddled protectively of his money. He opened himself up from a charge from Green Guy.

And to her, though no one had noticed her yet. Her power was useful for making quick getaways, and surprise attacks, but, in the end, her illusions were just that -- illusions. One good hit and they’d break, so she couldn’t risk a drawn-out fight. A quick smash and grab. Or...rather...a hit it and quit it.

Green Guy sent Red Guy flying, slamming into a car across the street hard enough that it warped around him. Neo seized the opportunity, leaping onto his chest. He grunted, knowing something had just hit him, but couldn’t tell what until she revealed herself.

“Who the hell-” Red Guy started to shout, his mouth going wide. Honestly, it was like he was asking for it. With a wide grin that she knew was consuming her face, Neo slammed the monster cock into Red Guy’s mouth and down his throat. It bulged to accommodate the considerable length, but he was able to take in a fair bit because he didn’t have a gag reflex. Not that it would have helped him here.

Red Guy reacted about as well to having a monster cock shoved down his throat as he could have, which is to say he didn’t react well at all. He screamed, his hands going to his throat, grasping at the other quarter of the dildo, going to yank it out. Casting an illusion of herself laughing maniacally, she severed the duffel bags from his arms. A bit bold, but people’s attention would be drawn to the guy with the giant cock shoved down his throat.

The bags dropped to the side as Red Guy took a swing at her illusion, shattering it like glass. Her illusions were versatile, but in the end, they were just illusions. They couldn’t take hits and one bad one would end with her real face being revealed. The shards of glass faded from view as Red Guy folded over, landing on his knees. Neo laughed at the sight - the panic and pain on his face with giant balls hiding his eyes from view...it was just such a harsh contrast that she couldn't not laugh.

Green Guy shifted into a skinny looking Green Kid, his expression just as panicked as Red Guy's. "Dude! Uh, what- do I just…?" He asked, looking around for someone to give him an answer. Eventually, he settled on grabbing the balls and pulling once he noticed that Red Guy was starting to turn blue.

Neo howled with laughter as she gathered up the duffle bags. Inside was money. Lots and lots of money. Enough that she could completely blow off that Nero guy and go set up shop someplace else.

She considered it for a moment, thumbing through a stack of green paper that matched the bundle that Nero gave her. Wasn't like she owed him anything, and if anything, a clueless guy like that would just slow her down. He hid money underneath his bed, for the god’s sake. But...that Hinata girl was interesting. And Nero did have a nice looking cock...and the place they were staying was a lot nicer than the ones she could squat at even if she flashed some serious cash.

Eh, she would stick with them for now. So long as they were amusing, and if not, then she would just have to amuse herself.

“Stay where you are!” Metal Guy shouted at...her? Neo blinked in surprise when she glanced over to see that Metal Guy was pointing his light blaster at her. She cast an illusion over herself, so he shouldn’t be able to see here...wait, infrared? Motion detectors? Ahhhh...what an absolute pain in the butt. “You...seriously, you can’t do stuff like that! I know the guy is a bad dude, but that’s just not right.”

As if to punctuate Metal Guy’s point, Green Boy pulled the cock out of Red Guy’s mouth, making him puke. Knowing that she was caught, for now, she dropped the illusion, though she kept her fake face up. Not wanting to pull out her scroll, just in case, she reached into her pocket and made it look like she pulled out a sign.

A picture of the letter I. A portapotty with a red bar that said ‘in use’. Then a puddle of grease.

“It’s not a matter of you using lube or not,” Metal Guy said, surprising her with another correct guess. Huh. Maybe the people back in her old world were just idiots? “This was way over the line -- this qualifies as criminal sexual assault. I know you were just trying to help, and all, but I’m going to have to take you in.”

The image on her sign changed to her fake face sticking her tongue out. Metal Man frowned, Green boy shifting. She felt a hum in her veins, tossing the duffle bags to the side in a nice pile. She looked beyond Metal Guy to see that Hinata had dropped her bags as well, her face set in a grim mask. So she had back-up. Even better, she had surprise back-up.

For a long moment, it was a standoff, only for it to be broken by Green Boy as he transformed into some kind of giant cat. He launched himself at her while Metal Guy went to fire a shot to cut off her retreat. Instead, his attack was knocked into the air when Hinata darted in front of him, knocking the laser blaster upwards. Neo grinned as she rushed to meet Green Boy halfway casting an illusion of herself going right as she went left.

Naturally, he fell for it, her illusion shattering as he pounced on it. It opened up a path to her weapon of choice. After planting a foot against Red Guy’s head as he struggled to breathe, she hefted her mighty dildo, brandishing it at the green cat. Green Boy wore a nervous expression that could be seen through his animal features. This place really was so much fun.

Darting forward, she thrust her dildo towards his mouth. Predictably, he recoiled, clamping his mouth shut. Throwing into a front handspring, Neo used her momentum to slam the heel of her boot into the top of his head hard enough that his chin hit the ground. Casting another illusion, she looked like she was backing off while he recovered for a split second from the blow. All the while, she flipped upwards, her sights set on his asshole, her dildo at the ready-

Neo was forced to back off when Green Boy whipped around, a claw rushing towards her. His nostrils flared as she avoided the blow, glancing over to see that Hinata was faring well against Metal Guy. Her fake face was even intact. Impressive, given that he seemed to be a bad matchup for both of them.

Green Boys nostrils flared as she cast an illusion of her darting to the right as she went left. He was using smell to track her. He confirmed as much as he lunged at her, going up, splaying his arms out wide to ensure he landed on her. Neo flipped out of the way before twisting in midair to thrust her dildo into the boy’s nose. Her eyes widened a fraction when she saw blood erupt from him but, to his credit, he fought through the pain and lunged at her again.

Did he not have aura? If she caught him completely surprised, then she could understand why she had already drawn blood, but in the middle of a fight? There was no way that he was so inexperienced that he let his aura drop in the middle of a fight, right? Wanting to test her theory, Neo cast another illusion of herself rushing towards him.

Only this time, without his sense of smell, he was having a lot harder time tacking her. Circling around, Neo tried to get a good angle before the tiger shapeshifted into something a lot bigger. An absolutely massive lizard-like creature -- its head was the size of a car, easily big enough to eat her in one bite, she didn’t even reach its arched ankle. Its size made its tiny arms that much more noticeable.

What was this guy’s semblance? Now, sticking a giant dildo up his butt seemed like it would be a lot less fun. Especially if it got her eaten. Casting an illusion, Neo darted to her hard-earned loot, grabbing the bags as Green Boy swung his tail, slamming it into a few cars hard enough that they flipped over into the sidewalks.

Realizing that he hadn’t hit her, Green Boy whipped around, lashing out with his tail that raced towards her. Neo launched herself up, the tail rushing underneath her fast enough that she was pushed up by the wind pressure before it came to a sudden crash against the other side of the street.

Yeah, this wasn’t her scene. Looking over at Hinata, she was winning her bout against Metal Guy, his armor bent in some places, just not enough to put him down. She seemed to have the same idea because she broke off. For another moment, Neo considered just bailing on the whole situation, using Hinata as a distraction while she beat feet away from here. Instead, she dropped the illusion around herself that hid her from view to let Hinata get a bead on her.

“B!” Metal Guy shouted before Green Boy let out a roar that seemed to shake the earth. Neo winced as sound assaulted her ears, watching as Hinata grabbed her bags before running at her. Was she planning to switch enemies? Metal Guy was a worse matchup for her than Hinata-

Neo’s train of thought was lost when Hinata grabbed onto her then the world changed. One moment she is standing on the street, flanked between Metal Guy and a giant lizard, and the next she’s standing on a roof. The transition only took a moment, but it was like she rode a mile long roller coaster in that one moment. Her stomach clenched, her vision swarmed...leaning over, Neo puked. She repaid Hinata by making it look like rainbows instead of whatever she ate before the Fall of Beacon.

“We have to get out of here,” Hinata said like she hadn’t just teleported them up a building. A skyscraper, from the look of it. The green one turned into a bird, it won’t be long before they find us up here.” Neo nodded,  shifting the weight so her money was secured as she wiped her mouth and spat the taste of vomit out of her mouth.

Using the same gimmick as before, she placed a few emoji’s on the sign that she flashed at Metal Guy.

A street. A building. A picture of a question mark.

Hinata frowned at her as she turned on her heel, darting forward at surprising speeds. Though, why was she running with her arms like that? It was weird. And she didn’t answer her question. Hinata leaped off the building with surprising daring, and, more surprising, when her feet touched the edge of the building across the street, they stuck to the surface. Seriously, what was her semblance?

Or...huh...it wasn’t a semblance at all, was it? Neo figured to herself as she leaped from the building to follow suit. The wind rushed by her ears -- it was a bit awkward to slow her descent with her umbrella with all the extra weight and a giant dildo in the other hand, but Neo managed the feat.

Hinata was waiting for her, her lips pressed into a thin line. “Can you handle another shunshin?” She asked as if she had any clue what that was. That teleporting technique, maybe? Neo braced her stomach, nodding, only before Hinata could perform the whatever it was, Green Boy made his presence known.

‘Yo! I’ll be taking that back,” Green Boy shouted, going for her hard-earned loot. He dropped from the sky, his form twisting into another animal, but no one touched her loot and got away with it. She lashed out with her massive black cock, taking a swing at the green bean. He dodged, landing as a lion, his claws digging into the rooftop before he launched himself at Neo, his mouth kept close just in case.

Still, that didn’t stop her from taking a swing at him anyway. Dropping her bags, she rushed to meet him, her cock thrusting out to slam into Green Boy’s stomach before she pivoted out from underneath him. He accepted the blow well, shifting into something, but all she saw was a club-like tail rushing towards her face. Leaning back, Neo dodged the attack, lashing out. To her amusement, her cock did slap against Green Boy’s ass, only there was no penetration.

“You’re a real piece of work, you know that?!” Green Boy shouted in his animal form, rounding on her, but he seemed to have forgotten that it wasn’t a one on one fight. Hinata darted forward, her hands outstretched that slammed into Green Boy’s side. He seemed to fold underneath the blows, one of his legs giving out -- a nerve strike of some kind?

Honestly, Hinata was proving to be the most interesting thing she’s seen so far.

Green Boy collapsed, reverting to his base form, a look of grim determination on his face, but no fear. He had backup.

Hinata didn’t press the attack, placing herself between him and Neo. She gave a deep bow, practically bending over at the waist, “you have my most sincerest apologies for what has happened. I cannot allow you to imprison her, but I promise you that she will face consequences for what she did.”

Ohhhhhh...will she now?

“That’s good ‘n all, but it looks pretty sketchy when you’re taking the money that Adonis stole,” Green boy pointed out, his gaze drifting to her. She stuck out her tongue in response, waving the pre-lubed dildo at him threateningly. Hinata glanced over her shoulder and, somehow, she didn’t look convinced by her innocent face. Her fake gaze narrowed into a stern glare, a silent demand in them.

Neo rolled her eyes hard enough that they could have rolled right out of her head and dropped the bags. And, naturally, she picked them right back up after leaving behind an illusion of the bags.

“Huh...well, if you’re trying to be heroes, you seriously can’t go around doing stuff like that. I mean, yeah, Adonis is a total jerk and a dude-bro, but you could have seriously hurt him...or worse.” Green Boy said seriously, relaxing a fraction when he realized they weren’t going to kill him. Or shove anything in his ass. Unfortunately.

“I understand completely. This will not happen again,” Hinata decided for her, raising from her bow. “You will regain feeling in your arms and legs soon. Please do not follow us.” Hinata said, going towards her, her fake expression telling her that she was in for a scolding. It looked really out of place on that party girl’s face.

“Wait-- before you go, who are you two?” Green Boy asked, desperately fishing for information. Hinata glanced at him for a moment, placing a hand on her shoulder.

Neither of them answered before the world changed around them again. This time, she was prepared for it, her head swimming, but other than that she was fine. Looking around, she saw that they were in an alley. Hinata looked up, her eyes narrowed before she nodded to herself. “We’re in the clear for now. But we should be careful,” Hinata said before she leveled a Look at her.

“Neo...what was that?” Hinata demanded, her voice leaning more towards the disappointed tone than angry. “Do you have any idea how dangerous that was? If they had seen our faces, then we could have been traced back to our home. Nero wished to make an alliance with those ‘heroes!’’” Neo could practically hear the finger quotes.

Neo gave a careless shrug, her eyes narrowing right back at the girl. She rather liked Hinata, just not enough to bother to listen to another scolding.

“They could be our way to getting home,” Hinata pressed. “They will remember this. You could have ruined everything.” Hinata continued, trying to make her understand. And she did. Nero had plans, and whatever, but she was hardly bound by them, now was she? And she wanted to have a little fun.

Wasn’t she entitled to it after watching the one person she ever gave a shit about dying? The only one that had ever cared if she lived or died? Because of some Flaming Bitch and Red?

Neo rolled her eyes again, a careless display to show that she didn’t care. They might be fuck buddies, but until they gave her a damn good reason to stay, she was here because she wanted to be. If they were going to get all pissy, then she would make like a banana and split. Hinata glared at her, hard, but she didn’t say another word.

Slowly, she took a breath and let it out. “We will continue this when we get back to the house,” Hinata warned, getting a sharp grin out of her as Neo gestured towards their parked car not that far away, already packed with her new clothes and stuff.

Neo waited until they were halfway back to the house to reveal that she brought the money along with her.

Neo is not a favoured character. She’s just childish and immature. I’ll look forward to the time she gets less screen time.

Dream71

Same i never like characters like that, load and "i can do anything with no consequences" type, is just annoying to make them cooperate and take way to much screen time for no reason.

TinyDeath

Not a fan of Neo.

Eh, she's a criminal responsible for thousands of deaths probably. What did you guys expect. IMO it was okay character development wise.

MasterMarx

Neo is, canonically, something of a sociopath, really. She *does* care about Torchwick, but that's...

Lightseid

This chapter was really disappointing. Neo was extremely stupid, and if this is what we can expect from the character, I'm going to rapidly lose interest. Especially with Nero and Hinata who won't actually do anything to punish or stop her. Plus I'm kind of wondering why you put someone with the Byakugan in the story if you don't know anything about it. The Byakugan could easily see through the illusions of Neo's semblance, it's already what it does in canon and it can also see through solid objects so Neo barely solid illusions wouldn't fool it.

Right. To address some of the concerns -- no, Neo isn't going to be like this all the time. Right now, she's lashing out and she has no reason to since nothing is tying her down to Nero and Hinata. Neo is reckless, a bit of a sociopath, but she's not stupid. As for why I picked Neo -- it's because she's going to cause problems. Nero and Hinata are both passive characters, especially when Nero is going out of his way to avoid trouble. Neo is a character that encourages conflict -- both with other factions, and between characters because she and Hinata are very different people. And yes, she's going to get better and no, she won't get off scot-free. The next chapter's title is literally punishment. However, if people hate her that much, then I'll put up a poll next week after the first tier patrons get a chance to look at it. If the majority don't care for her character, then I'll replace her and rewrite the chapter -- though, to be noted, that would mean Be a Dragon would go on a brief hiatus while I change things around.

I prefer Neo being in the story, she will cause a bit of chaos that is necessary. As Ideas-guy mentioned, Hinata and Nero are currently both passive characters. Forcing a Chaotic-Evil character on them is a good way to ensure that Nero and Hinata undergo character development, and in all likelihood, Neo would probably get some as well. This is literally the first chapter with her, at the very least there should be a few more before people start saying "Get rid of her!" imo.

There aren't any straight up physical Illusions in Naruto lol. Neo's Illusions are probably on the level of Tsukuyomi or Kotoamatsuki if anything, and the Byakugan stands no chance against that level of technique. Neo's illusions actually have dimension and volume to them, something that no genjutsu in the Narutoverse does. I think it is perfectly canon-compliant that the Byakugan can't see through them, the way around it that a Byakugan user would quickly learn would be the ability to tell the slight differences they have compared to Reality.

Or you know, just have Nero man up. I don't know where Nero stands on the power scale here, but Hinata would wreck Neo in a fight. The sheer speed even academy students in Naruto have is insane. Hell, 4 year old Naruto could jump off a mountain, free fall for over a thousand feet and land easily without any injury in a straight drop. Honestly, Neo's hot, but she doesn't really bring anything to the table that Hinata doesn't already except unlocking aura.

Honestly I never liked neo
