Apple subscription query (Patreon)

Hey mates, some of you apple ipod users have been asking about an apple do go on subscription function, I'm pasting Dave's answer here in case anyone missed it!

We’re trialing a thing with Apple Podcasts where subscribers get one new bonus episode a month. It’s the same report episode that we put out on Patreon every month. (New one came out this week!)

It’s a bit cheaper than some tiers on Patreon but subscribers don’t get the other two bonus monthly episodes, instant access to the back catalogue of bonus eps, shout outs, voting, the Facebook group, discount tickets etc.

Apple does all of its own marketing for this new feature so we haven’t really been pushing it on the show or on social media. Will also quietly add that they also take a much bigger cut than Patreon do.

But we hoped it would be a good way to find new subscribers who listen on the Apple app and wanted to support the show but have less features.
