Dave here because Jess is on a well-earned weekend away. But she did have one message to pass on…

“EVERYONE PLEASE, WASH YA BUTTS!”

I didn’t have a very exciting weekend I must confess. I mainly read my book for Book Cheat, wrote about said book, recorded episode about book and am now editing the book… I mean episode.

It’s one of the oldest ones I’ve done (okay so nothing compares to Euripides) but it’s so old it’s often referred to as one of the first ever novels written in English. It’s called Oronooko and it’s by English author Aphra Behn, who was the first woman to make a living as a writer. Pretty cool.

The guests are Naomi Higgins and Hum Mahbub who are two of the creators of new tv/streaming series Why Are You Like This? Which you should check out on ABC Iview if you’re in Australia or if not it’s coming soon to Netflix.

Spoiler on the Book Cheat episode, they hated the book. Haha. Should be out tomorrow!

On the menu this week, I’m going to attempt to make a coconut curry! So wish me luck on that front.

I also forgot that Feb only has 28 days, so if you’re on the bonus episode tier there will be a new episode of everyone’s favourite Brendan Fraser podcast on the movie ‘Now and Then’ will be out later today. Wooh. I think it’s still technically Feb in some places for a couple more hours? So got it in on a technicality!!
