How are you? I hope you've had / are having an excellent weekend. I just went to IKEA and did not have a break down or an argument, so I'm feeling pretty smug. 

I am deep in prep for the Comedy Fest,  and going completely mad if I can be honest. Hopefully it will all come together ... at the last possible minute, in true Perkins fashion. 

We also have something exciting to tell you! We are adding a new Patreon goal and if we meet that goal, we will be releasing an extra bonus episode each month... and that bonus episode will be... 

FRAISING THE BAR!!! 

We've talked about this spin-off podcast idea for a while, and a lot of you thought it would never happen. But it's coming, baby! We will do a season of bonus episodes of Fraising The Bar until we've watched all of Brendan Fraser's movies. What an absolute treat it will be! 

Stay tuned for that!

Matt: 

"The saints men's and women's teams played at Moorabbin on Thursday and Friday respectively and both had wins! It was the women's team's first ever win and the men's first game at their old home ground since 1992 (I was at that game in 1992!)"

Dave: 

"My weekend has been pretty chilled out. I re-watched the most recent James Bond film Spectre in anticipation of the next Bond film. I didn’t love it at the cinema but really quite enjoyed it. It’s no Skyfall sure, but it’s certainly no Quantum Of Solace either (shit)."

"Book Cheat is on an off week. But I’m pretty sure the next episode will be on the Australian Classic Picnic At Hanging Rock.  Have any of you Patreon supporters read it?  There’s a pretty famous 70s Aussie movie, but I’ve never seen it.   It takes place on Valentine’s Day so I really should have released it this month. Enjoy this late gift as well as this late bunch of flower. "

We hope you're all doing well, and that we can catch up with a bunch of you at our MICF shows, which are fast approaching! They're always so fun, so we're really looking forward to it.
