Catch up Newsletter (Patreon)

Hey friends! 

We are so close to our UK tour, we can't believe how quickly it's come up! Can't wait to see a a bunch of you there! 

I wanted to get in early because this week, on November 19th, it's #ThankYouPatrons day, and that gives us an opportunity to say thank you to YOU for all of your support. 

Something that I wanted to bring up was that recently you've been giving us some really lovely feedback that you feel like our reports have gotten even better. Firstly that's just really nice of you, but I wanted you to know how much of that is actually because of you. 

We don't really like to talk about the business / money side of things, because that's not really what we're all about. BUT because the Patreon has grown and you've continued to support us, it means we can spend more time working on the podcast, because we're able to pay ourselves a little bit for our time. (And the reports take quite a lot of time.. especially because I procrastinate so much. I'm supposed to be writing now but I stopped to write this newsletter) 

I'd never really thought about these kinds of things until we started our Patreon, and until the support of our Patreons started to make such a difference to my day-to-day life. We can only dedicate so much time to this pod because of your support, and it's not just money. It's coming to live shows, watching videos we put up, following us on socials, buying merch. All of that makes such a massive difference to artists, and you've made me be more active in supporting other artists too. So thank you for that! 

So if there is a musician, artist, comedian, writer, podcaster or youtuber that you really enjoy, then support them in any way you can. It doesn't have to mean spending money on them, but little things actually make a big difference. You've certainly made a big impact in our lives, and we can't begin to thank you enough.

We'll do our best to keep you updated on how the UK tour is going, but for now it's back to report writing for me!
