The first bonus episode of the month is out! As suggested by Dominic Soundsystm in the facebook group, we caught up and put a spotify playlist together! As we recorded, we went on a world tour in our minds and picked a song each for each of the nine destinations.

I know I'm more than two years later here, but anyway. I didn't follow the themes, but chose songs that were either from/about the place or just what popped into my head. Australia: Down Under (Men at Work) is the epitome of Australia to me (a Norwegian). Hawaii: Kokomo (The Beach Boys) was the first song that popped into my head, I don't even think they mention Hawaii (otherwise Over the Rainbow would be my go-to). New York: Empire State of Mind (Alicia Keys) for a newer (yorker) song about the city that never sleeps. Ireland: My Love (Westlife), an Irish boyband from my childhood/teens, singing about their love (spoiler: their love is Ireland). Egypt: To not steal from Bop I'm going with Egypt Song (Elvira Nikolaisen), a Norwegian artist singing about finding her "way out of Egypt" whatever that means. Greenland: Ice Ice Baby (MC Hammer) cos Greenland is icy (and Iceland is greeny). Turkey: Deli (Mor ve ötesi) cos it's the one Turkish song I more or less know (it's from Eurovision - they didn't even do that well score-wise). India: Mundain to bach ke (Panjabi MC), or for a more Indian song (since the former is British-Punjabi) - Tunak Tunak Tun (Daler Mehndi). Flight back: I'm Coming Home (Diddy)
