Hey friends, how's it going??

Time for a quick little Patreon update! There isn't heaps to tell you, but we recorded this week's episode last night, so scroll way down if you want to know the topic!

I (Matt) have also recorded the first episode of my new podcast (hopefully episodes will start coming out in the next two weeks!) It's about primates in popular culture and it's called 'Prime Mates' (WHAT FUN HUH?!) I'm recording more episodes through this week - what are some general questions you think I should ask guests about primates in general/primates specifically in the movie/tv show/game we are talking about?

There is one more video of the live pod from Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and we'll put it up for you soon... the other three are available on our youtube channel (youtube.com/dogoonpod) but the second and third ones are unlisted - so you will have to follow the links I posted yesterday).

Let me know if you have any other thoughts or questions or feelings or needs or wants in the comments... cheers!

Question ideas: Given the choice, would you have every primate in the world wear some kind of hat (based on their species) or wear a different style/color of shirt? How do you think our lives would be different if we weren't the only species of sentient primates alive today? Monkeys or apes? If evolution had gone a slightly different way, would you rather primates' hair be stripy or spotty? (yes, it would apply to humans as well). If you could ask 3 questions to any non-human primate and have them answered understandably, what would they be? If we could ethically train any species of primate to play a human sport, which primate(s) and sport(s) would you choose?

The perfect intro song is the 3 dogooners singing, "number 1 banana, number 1 banana, number 1 banana." Shoot, I wish I remembered which episode that was from.
