Hey friends! Matt here, last time I did one of these was after I did a gig in front of a small crowd, well... I did a gig in front of an even smaller crowd tonight, and that reminded me I should write another one!

One guy in the audience got up and shook my hand when he liked a joke. He didn't laugh, he just said "that's a really good one" shook my hand and sat back down again. It was one of the more odd gigs I've done, but still fun in it's own way.

While I'm battling away here in Melbourne, Jess is touring Western Australia. Sure, she may be performing in front of hundreds of people every night, but how many of them have approached her while she's on stage to shake her hand?? None I reckon... so, you know. We're all winners in our own way.

I'm only now realising I probably don't have enough to tell you to justify calling this a newsletter, but it's too late to do anything about that now...

A new episode went out today, but because Jess is away, we had to prerecord a few eps, so I already know what next week's topic is, scroll way down to the bottom of this if you want to know what it is...

We're looking into doing a live episode up in Sydney in a few months time, have I mentioned that? That'd be fun... Dave has been talking to some venues this week, so hopefully we'll have some more to tell you about that soon.

What do you want to know? AMA in the comments... that's internet speak for Ask Matt Anything. Otherwise, stay good... we love you all!

Next week's topic is about Town Bully Ken McElroy.

You guys did an episode on the creator of Calvin and Hobbs Bill Waterson, did you guys enjoy that one? If so would you ever do one on the creator of peanuts Charles M Schultz or Garfield's creator Jim Davis?

Elijah stole my thunder with the Ohio question, so I'll make my question more general. I'm an Ohioan and a graduate from The Ohio State University (part of the reason most of the U.S. hates us is because we have to tell everyone we are from Ohio). What do you think it would take listener-wise for you guys to seriously consider coming to the States for some shows? I'm sure you guys don't like talking publicly about listener numbers/statistics so don't feel pressure to be specific. But if Do Goon keeps growing at its current pace, would it seriously ever be a possibility? I can say there is nowhere in the U.S. I wouldn't travel to see you guys. (From Ohio. Did I mention I'm from Ohio?) I'd likely build a vacation around following you guys. That sounds creepy. I promise it's not... I never take vacation so I've got lots of days stored up. Love to burn em watching some sweet sweet comedy. (Getting creepy again). That'll be all. -Scott Wilkinson

Haha cheers Scott! We definitely would/are considering a US tour... it's actually a Patreon target, if we reach $7k/month we're going to make it happen! It looks like that's probably a while away, but we're super keen! Hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later. Our friends in Aunty Donna are touring America at the moment and seem to be having an amazing time. Im very jealous!

That was a fun one! Hope you enjoyed it... I really knew nothing about him or the comic so it was a great to learn about him. Ill put jim Davis and Charles M Schultz now
