Newsletter Catch Up Yeah! (Patreon)

Hey friends, I was just thinking I should do an update sometime soon, then I was thinking, now is sometime soon!

I (Matt) just did a gig with Jess in front of about 12 people, and I'm not one for hyperbole, but we literally crushed the joint in the palms of our hands. Afterwards, I heard one of the audience members say "I will never see comedy again after this" and I'm pretty sure that's because they'd just seen comedy at it's absolute best and wanted to quit while they were ahead...

This week's episode seems to be getting some love, it was a lot of fun to record. Next week's episode has also been recorded, if you want to know the topic I will tell you waaaay down at the bottom of this, I'll leave heaps of blank space for those who don't want it spoilt...

Other news things: we're working our way towards putting out some merch, we got heaps of awesome ideas sent to us on twitter, which I will be going through with our resident artist Peader Thomas to see which ones we should make into t-shirts and what not. If you have any suggestions of references from the show or anything else that would make a good Do Go On shirt or whatever, let us know in the comments. A few people have been bugging us to get our pods up onto youtube, and I've finally pulled my finger out and am going through the process of putting them up! I've started at the beginning and will be putting up one a day over the next few months and eventually new eps will go up on youtube the same time they go up on other podcast platforms... What else can I tell you...

Saints Update (does anyone care?): we had a bad loss last week to the Sydney Swans, going down by 50 points. It's put us back out of the top 8... we've got the Western Bulldogs this week (the reigning premiers and Dave's team I'm pretty sure). Big game, I'm not feeling super confident, but I'll be there Saturday afternoon to watch it.
