Overwatch - D.Va (Patreon)

Sorry for the delay. As mentioned before, I'm very, very rusty when it comes to this kind of thing. I spent way too long practicing different tools/techniques on this one. I destroyed it, then salvaged it a bit, then destroyed it again, etc. In the end I was doing the colors on a single layer because in jumping all over the place I sort of jumbled my layers beyond repair, and instead of going back and spending the time trying to salvage them I just flattened and kept going. I definitely learned a lot about how I want to do such coloring, and reminded myself of some old tricks, so hopefully the next one is faster/better. Also, excuse the lazy background, but I simply felt I needed to move on.

So I've decided to use D. Va as my first practice piece from the current request pool. I know there are plenty of details missing, but outside of the marks on her face I've opted out of adding many details that I feel would be best added in the color stage. I'm practicing/going to be practicing some new things with these, so I may keep the poses/backgrounds simple and be a little slow with them at first, but things will hopefully pick up as I do more. Just taking a break real quick then will begin experimenting with colors.
