There's the reality that men desire sex far more, and thus it is women that control access to sex. In order for a man to have success with many women he has to have something that makes him desirable, such as a good career, or exceptional looks and physique. Therefore, when a man is massively successful with women, he's at the top of the game, but for a woman to be massively successful with men she typically just has to exist and be easily available.
