Here are the colors for the first page of Star vs Earth. Star sets out to learn social media to gain followers, but Star encounters something more than she set out for.

I adjusted Star's face a bit more in the final panel because felt it could afford to look sillier, which fits her character. Also, I changed her legs to have thigh highs, which is how I originally imagined the character but put her in leggings for the original lines.

Here is page 1 of a new monthly project titled Star vs Earth. Star wishes to gain followers and so Janna unleashes her onto social media, where Star encounters more than she bargained for.

This is not at all what I had originally planned for a longform comic, but I decided to try and come up with something that works better in a monthly format. I'll be using a mix of narration and dialogue to try and get advancement done in each page, while also having short scenes of up to 4 pages at a time. This way I can get through a lot of situations between different characters, while not be doing anything that requires any commitment in case my situation changes in the near future, since even though I plan to have this be sequential, pages and scenes should also be able to stand on their own.

This particular page is the first of a 4 page scene involving Star, Janna, and eventually Marco. This means the next page will follow this exact situation, but once a sequence is complete things can skip around to another scenario. I did this post later in the month, but that's because I had to decide what I was going to do. Now that I have decided what I will be doing I plan to do my update here at the start of each month, but we'll see how that works out.
