Interesting direction to take this! I guess Raven never kissed Robin when they were having sex did she? It’s interesting that the others have sort of been adjusting and accommodating to the way Star views sex and intimacy, but when it comes to kissing, Raven still prefers to keep that between two partners. I think it’s a good compromise between Tamaranean and Earth intimacy. Also, like Kronos said, super cute that Star was so gung-ho to kiss BB she already had her tongue out. 😂

Gotta say I’m not a big fan of Star’s personality and eyes it kind of makes her seems simple minded. Not taking away anything from the comic it’s still great! Just my little commentary.

I definitely think I get where you’re coming from. Though what I think you may be mistaking for stupidity, is actually Star just being naïve about how culture works on Earth (especially sex). She’s usually very intelligent, with the exception of many social interactions. She can definitely be one track minded, especially when she gets drawn into things. But she’s extremely passionate about her friends, both in the show and this comic. To me, that’s what makes her so genuine, and so appealing as a character. Plus..it doesn’t hurt that she’s sexy as hell. 😅

Well as I've said in comments before, I imagine Starfire needs to be taught boundaries in many things. She has a practically invincible body with limitless strength, and even compared to other Tamaraneans that appear in the show she is slow on the uptake.

Indeed Raven did not. She only kissed Beast Boy, because he is the only one that triggers her passion. And yeah, I figured there'd be bounds drawn as a sort of compromise between Tamaranean and Earth behavior. But, it's not even just everyone adjusting to accommodate Star, since Raven is primarily accommodating her own needs, which just so happen to fall in line with Star's needs.

Well many people probably don't like to hear it, but I've always seen animated Starfire as simple minded. She's very direct and poor at understanding boundaries that are not directly explained to her. Heck, the show even presents other Tamaraneans, and Starfire is the only one that has an odd manner of speaking. That was even a big focus of the episode where Blackfire first appears, because she gets along with everyone well, and unlike Starfire she does not get confused by Earth concepts or customs. But yes, as Rhoward stated, Starfire is very passionate about her friends. That is something that got lots of emphasis in the show, but is also a part of Tamaranean lore. They're a very peaceful and loving race by nature, to the point that their race never had internal conflict until Blackfire was born as a genetic anomaly. That's why while some have commented about Star looking like a kid in a candy store, I consider her excitement to be well beyond that. I'd say it's more like a dog that's been caged and separated from its family for a few years, and is now freed and reunited with them. She's going to be all smiles for a while.

Well Raven and Beast Boy, then Starfire and Robin, are the official pairings, so I find it fitting to keep more intimate/affectionate behaviors split between them.

Not trying to convince you to change your plans, but I do want to point out that Raven is being a bit of a hypocrite here given she crossed that line herself first. I don't know why she's making that distinction after cuddling and sleeping with Robin and Star herself post sex. I'd argue that's more emotionally intimate then simple kissing in the heat of the moment.

Well first off, even if that were the case, I'd say she gets a bit of a pass since she was mentally unstable at the time and her powers were causing her to act, which is a consistent flaw of her character that causes far worse situations, which Beast Boy said is something he accepts. Ignoring that, she was asked to stay by Starfire, during which she only cuddled with Starfire, and was distinctly separated from Robin by Starfire. Robin was on the other side of the bed, away from Raven. Lastly, Raven primarily cut off Starfire for Robin's sake, to encourage Star to maintain some romantic/intimate things solely between him and Starfire, and not out of her own jealousy, hence her wording that Star should keep that between herself and Robin.
