Hey guys. So there's a good chance I may not have an upload this week. I hopped on to upload this week's lines for Emotion Sickness, and saw I had a notice from Patreon. It seems there is likely a ToS conflict, and I sent them a response email to try and establish the details. As a result, I will not be posting the lines until I have further response from Patreon, as I do not want to risk performing any violations until I have more complete details.

I would advise anyone to download any content they wish to keep in the meantime. I'm not positive what the response to my inquiries will be, but there is a chance I will have to delete a lot of content from this page. Sadly, if this happens, it also means I will not be allowed to state on Patreon anything about where I move the content to once it's off the platform.

Sorry for any inconvenience that may be coming soon, but my hands are tied on these subjects.

Big sad, what other media platforms do you have where you might be able to update us on?

Bruno Aispuro

Do you have Twitter or Reddit

RevyTwoHand

Well I hope it goes well. If you can't state where else to find it can we?

incognitymous

The major problem is that the answer is none. If I'm not allowed to address something on Patreon, I am also not allowed to use Patreon to link to a place where I can address the topic. Once content has to be removed there is zero way for me to direct on where to find it, as that would be considered linking to the content via Patreon.

incognitymous

I do not. If I did, and either one was linked to this Patreon, it would fall under the same rules and regulations as this Patreon page, meaning if I can't discuss it here, I couldn't discuss it there.

incognitymous

You cannot, as I have to make sure to maintain a separation between my Patreon and anything that is not allowed on Patreon. This includes moderating user comments, otherwise it would be easy enough for creators to bypass restrictions by using secondary accounts.

Unheilspilz

comparing, we should do it like the others just upload everything to mega and since every time the link is renewed something new is coming

I have my suspicions as to what content you've posted that they have taken issue with, but I can't imagine it's anything in Emotion Sickness. Worst case scenario, maybe remove that particular content from Paetron. It sucks but, better than removing yourself from the platform altogether. Apl.in all it's a sucky situation, and I hope you'll be able.to come.out if it relatively unscathed.

trollmahn

I advise going onto SubscribeStar instead. As long as the content is legal in the US, SubscribeStar doesn't care what you post. Animo and Sparrow both moved there because of how hostile Patreon is with enforcement of TOS

Assassin

for the emotion sickness it maybe page 61 or 62

Anonymous

How about if you made another Patreon for free and linked your stuff there, you wouldn't be violating any tos on this account so they couldn't erase this account

incognitymous

Well the issue would still be that the Mega is linked to this Patreon, and if the content is not allowed on Patreon, then I'm not allowed to link it here. Using Mega doesn't really solve the issue.

incognitymous

I'm hoping Emotion Sickness isn't an issue, and the email didn't mention anything related to it as an issue, but now that they've brought an issue up I want to make sure the current scene is fine. If it is I wouldn't have to remove Emotion Sickness entirely, but rather remove the current scene and do it entirely differently.

incognitymous

The issue is that I don't want to toss all of my eggs into one basket because of how volatile adult content is. I want to continue using one platform that follows more stringent payment platform restrictions so that I know I have something more reliable. I've been deplatformed entirely far too many times over the last handful of years to not keep that in consideration.

incognitymous

Well nothing has been stated about Emotion Sickness violating any ToS, but I did ask them about it to be sure, as while it doesn't actually violate any rules, that doesn't mean they won't have issue with it being maybe too close.

trollmahn

Ss is a Free speech platform with a dedicated adult section. Check it out

trollmahn

I have been using it for 5 years and no controversial artists I follow have had issues.

trollmahn

You can always keep Patreon as a tip jar for those that don't want to migrate

incognitymous

That wouldn't fix anything, because the issue is with hosting content on this Patreon page. I can't really do the rewards in any way if I use a public page, and I wouldn't be able to link this page to the other, so how would I tell you all where to find the content? That would be no different than using a Mega account, which still would not be allowed to have any content that's not allowed here.

You could put it in one of your future posts, like if you're doing that gravity falls or emotion sickness, have them be on a computer in one scene and put the link as one of the tabs, at least some people will figure it out and post it somewhere for others, just an idea

Anonymous

Or rather you could make a website with a disclaimer, so you don't have to keep going around guidelines and such

Zen-san

You won't be able to say where you'll be moving your content to if it's gone?! Are you serious?

ScarletIce

Does this mean Emotion Sickness might end up being moved to the star of subs?

Savio

The problem here isn't that he wants to continue here, but because of the conditions that PayPal has. That makes it sometimes hard, if you don't have access to a credit card, for what kinda reason.

incognitymous

Yes, I will not, because that would also be a violation of the rules. If a platform has rules that you cannot upload X content, you also cannot use that platform to share or link to X content. The rules are imposed onto me by Patreon, who has the rules imposed onto them by PayPal. If I refuse to follow Patreon's instruction, they will remove me. If Patreon refuses to remove me, PayPal will remove Patreon.

incognitymous

I have confirmation now that Emotion Sickness is 100% fine, so it will not be going anywhere.

incognitymous

I tried the website thing before, and my ability to use payment options got shut down by the big banks. These are not rules being enforced by Patreon, but rather by companies like PayPal/Visa/MasterCard.

This is a huge bummer for me. Bawdy Falls was the main reason I was subscribed.
