Page 92 of Bawdy Falls is now complete. After leaving Mabel to distract Pacifica, Wendy returns to the gift shop to find Dipper with undivided attention, which leaves her less capable of controlling the flow of the conversation as she did before.

Here are the lines for page 92 of Bawdy Falls. Wendy is back in the gift shop after leaving Mabel to handle Pacifica, but now that Dipper's attention is undivided she finds it more difficult to control the flow of the conversation.


Ugh, this page took longer to decide on the wording than to draw it, and I'm still rather undecided on some of it, so it may be prone to changing.

He's not dumb, he was just not able to pay attention properly to what Wendy was doing before because he was fully distracted by Mabel. Wendy misinterpreted his behavior as he zoned out, so she went in expecting him to be eating from the palm of her hand, but he's far more level headed now.

Not quite. She was just caught off guard and has had a bad stroke of luck since she showed up. Getting pushed aside by Pacifica, realizing that both Dipper and Mabel are now taller than her, and now thinking Dipper has lost any of his interest in her, it's just been one blow after another.

Yeah, that and I'm sure Wendy's one to tease people, and Dipper wasn't quite attentive enough to realize exactly how direct Wendy was being. The only thing that truly stuck out to him after the previous interaction was inadvertently staring at Wendy's boobs, and then her "accidentally" showing him her nipple as she teased him about it.

I'd say less dense and more he was distracted. If Wendy came on as strong as before with Dipper clear-minded and attentive then he'd definitely know something was up.

Now I can see Dipper's dilemma and in the context of this story I can see the reason's behind his choices but...Wendy was always the hottest character from the show for me. So I'd choose her in a heartbeat. But I ain't Dipper.
