Here are the colors for page 88 of Bawdy Falls. Pacifica inquires about Wendy, but Dipper assures her it was just an accident with some teasing. She accepts his response, but is less accepting of the effect Mabel leaving had on her visit. At least Dipper was able to brighten her day with a separate invitation.

LINES:

Here are the lines for page 88 of Bawdy Falls. Pacifica questions Dipper about Wendy's motives, but he tactfully redirects. She's then not happy to learn that Dipper can't leave his current position, but her mood quickly changes when Dipper hits her with a separate invitation.

Lining itself wasn't so difficult for this page, especially with how much I could reuse things in the bottom 3 panels, but getting everything positioned to squeeze all of this dialogue into one page was a pain to figure out.

Also, yes, Pacifica knows Wendy's name, but I can't imagine the two of them get along too well, so Pacifica refers to her as "Lazy Lumberjane", whereas Wendy likes to poke at Pacifica by giving her a prefix for being short, such as "small", "tiny", etc., and then whatever name she uses for her at the time, such as "princess", "rich girl", or as in the last page, things like "problem" when appropriate.

Just a Jinx

Is it weird I'm analyzing the relationship, and find it kinda toxic? Like it's an actual thing?

Mattcucu

Oh yes for you Dipper (and little Dipper) she'll survive anything, that's going to be hard (in a lot of ways) for him

The relationship only looks toxic on the surface. Pacifica puts on a bitchy facade to hide how much she really cares about Dipper. I feel it's apparent the main reason Paz takes absolute control over her relationship with Dipper apart from the sexual pleasure & her spoiled upbringing, is because she is super insecure about herself. She probably feels like, at any moment, Dipper could drop her in favor of whomever he wanted. Despite how many times she rips on him for being a dork, the fact remains that he is the only person (maybe aside from Mabel) that stuck around after seeing her at both her best and worst. Not for her money, but for her friendship. Her willingness to put up with Mabel, the shack, and all of Dipper's personality quirks is a testament to her devotion towards keeping their relationship alive and well. While also having some naughty fun along the way.

I can just see Mabel having Wendy come over to catch us and seeing the tension decides to loosen everyone up by spiking the punch with a little Mabel Juice.

Double Dipper

I love her personality. I think you nailed it right on the head.

Now I don’t know who I like more. 😍

Well I could see Mabel inviting Wendy over and her inadvertently catching them because Mabel didn't catch it through, but I don't see her going out of her way to reveal Dipper and Pacifica's secret relationship.

Thanks. Dipper, Mabel and Pacifica are fun to work with because of their differences in personality, so I do try to get them right.

I'm loving the whole story so far, but with Wendy now involved I can't wait to see what happens next. Is three girls enough to call it a harem?
