Bawdy Falls Page 52 (Patreon)

The colors for page 52 of Bawdy Falls are now complete. Dipper wakes up next to Pacifica and feels the need to celebrate the occasion. Pacifica is also feeling the magic until Mabel interjects in her own special way. At least Dipper's used to Mabel's behavior, but Pacifica apparently still needs time to adjust.

For anyone curious, the image on Mabel's shirt is a blu-ray disc. Since she wore floppy disk pajamas in the show I felt it an appropriate upgrade.

LINES:


The lines for page 52 are now complete. A lot of details to line as usual so this took a bit of time but it's done in time that I should have the colors up on time Friday.

SKETCH:


Here is the sketch for page 52 of Bawdy Falls. Dipper feels the need to celebrate a special occasion and Pacifica is on board with his plan but Mabel makes things silly as usual. Dipper's totally used to it but Pacifica may need some time to adapt.

This page took longer than I would have liked but I'm not too late. I should still easily have this lined and colored by Friday.

Good thing the expert matchmaker is there to guide them. Otherwise, and much to Pacifica's dismay and Dipper's joy, his penis could have magically ended in Pacifica's butt instead.

Exactly. Now if it happens it will be Mabel's intention instead of Dipper's mistake. He'll still be blamed, but if the punishment is split between the two then he might survive.

I like how you have Mabel looking between Pacifica and Dipper's body in the middle panel. Something about that I found cute and funny. BTW I started watching the series though not from the beginning (I need to). I caught and episode of Dipper, Mabel and Pacifica at a mini-golf course with the balls coming to life and something about them wanting Mabel sticker. Might be because I didn't start at the first episode, but I was so lost. They were so young too! I guess I got used to them looking like this. Lol

Heh, at first I just had the top of Mabel's head visible and her shirt showing between them, but I didn't feel that Mabel enough for the panel. Good to know the fix worked as intended. As for the series, I personally thought it was quite good, especially in comparison to most of what has come out in recent years. I'd definitely consider giving it a watch from the beginning, and if you like it then perhaps check out the Lost Legends comic that came out recently as it was quite good. Heck, even if you don't like the show enough to tough it out I would still suggest taking a look at the comic as it handles the characters quite well. As for them being younger in the show, I never really stopped to consider the effect of seeing a character in a show looking younger than fan content online. Typically I always see it the other way around, AKA show first and any aged up stuff later, so it probably would feel weird to see the change be the other way.
