“Obito, our attack… didn't cause much damage to Konoha!”

In Konoha's cemetery, a half-black, half-white figure appeared beside a mourning Obito.

Even Zetsu had to admire Obito. After causing such chaos, he still had the audacity to stay in Konoha.

“I know!”

Gazing at Rin’s tombstone, Obito fell silent, not immediately responding.

“They're about to start sealing the Nine-Tails. Are you just going to watch, Obito?”

The impact of the attack was surprisingly minimal. Except for the area where the Nine-Tails was summoned and the impact it created, most of Konoha was untouched. Toshiro Uchiha’s timely arrival and the barrier he deployed significantly reduced the destruction.

“In that case, let’s go over and have a look.”

Despite being defeated by his sensei and losing his right arm, Obito remained undeterred.

“In that case, let me help you!”

Another White Zetsu merged with Obito, transforming into his right arm.

“Let’s go…see if there’s any chance to do more damage.”

Obito was still wary of his sensei. He intended to observe and, if an opportunity arose, cause trouble. If not, he would simply watch.

---

“Who is it?”

Toshiro, always vigilant along with his Sage mode senses, sensed a strange aura approaching and sounded the alarm. This interrupted Namikaze Minato, who was contemplating whether he, Kushina, Toshiro, the Third Hokage, and the numerous sealing ninjas present could successfully separate and seal the Nine-Tails into Kushina and Naruto.

“I didn’t expect that you would dare to stay in Konoha.”

Following Toshiro’s gaze, Minato was surprised to see Obito's clear malicious intent.

“Your right hand was destroyed by me. How did it grow back so quickly?”

His attention had not been on his Flying Thunder God mark, and Konoha had many such marks. Focusing now, he saw the mark was still there, but Obito's arm was perplexingly restored.

“Minato, is this the enemy who attacked you and Kushina?”

Even the Third Hokage regarded the intruder with extreme wariness. This enemy had to be extraordinary, knowing there would be vulnerabilities in the seal during the Nine-Tailed Jinchuuriki’s childbirth and being able to regenerate a destroyed arm. Was this the power of the Wood Release?

Whoosh whoosh!

Before Obito could respond, Konoha ninjas on guard launched an attack. A barrage of shuriken and kunai was fired at him.

But the effect was...

"How is that possible? Is it an illusion?"

"Was the Fourth Hokage fighting with such an enemy?"

Seeing their attacks pass right through the opponent, the Konoha ninjas were stunned.

“Everyone, be careful. The enemy can hide his true form to some extent, but he needs to materialize when attacking. Stay alert and let me handle this!”

Based on what he knew, Minato realized the ordinary Konoha ninjas were of no use in this fight. It was up to him and his Flying Thunder God jutsu to turn the tide.

In a flash, Minato appeared behind Obito, a kunai aimed at his head.

“It’s truly magneficient!”

Obito didn't panic when he saw his sensei. He remained still, showing no intention of dodging.

“It’s my turn!”

As Minato's kunai seemed to penetrate his head, Obito conjured a wooden spike and thrust it towards Minato’s chest. However, Minato vanished before the attack landed.

Just as Obito thought he had a moment's respite, Toshiro appeared in his left blind spot, a ninja sword slashing towards his upper body with perfect timing.

Toshiro, who had remained unnoticed after making his suggestion. Now, seeing Obito, he was determined to make him pay for controlling the Nine-Tails and launching the Tailed Beast Ball at him. He aimed to eliminate this threat for good.

Ding!

Obito, sensing the attack, deflected Toshiro's strike with a kunai. Before he could react further, Minato reappeared behind him, this time wielding a Rasengan instead of a kunai, aiming it at Obito’s head.

With Toshiro's cooperation, Minato felt more confident in defeating this enemy. Despite Obito’s strange abilities, the two of them working together would not allow him to escape easily.

However, Obito used his Kamui power to evade the Rasengan. Toshiro, still close by, took another swing at Obito’s vital areas.

“The cooperation between you two is really tricky!”

Using his technique, Obito distanced himself from Toshiro and Minato. He realized this encounter might be futile. While Toshiro alone wasn't much of a threat, his teacher’s Flying Thunder God was problematic. The two of them, covering each other, were formidable, and he couldn't gain the upper hand alone.

Time to retreat and regroup!

"Careful!"

Just as Namikaze Minato and Toshiro were engaging Obito, Uzumaki Kushina felt something amiss and shouted to alert everyone present.

But as soon as she spoke, an unexpected event occurred.

"Ah! What is this?"

"My chakra is decreasing!"

Chaotic shouts erupted from behind Toshiro and Minato. The noise came from the sealing team members.

"The opponent’s target is the Kyuubi!"

Toshiro glanced at the Sandaime Hokage, who was standing on Kyuubi, vigilant yet somewhat powerless. Toshiro twitched the corner of his mouth and complained helplessly.

After all, he is the ‘strongest Hokage.’ Even injured, he shouldn't be this helpless! He couldn't protect the sealing team members around Kyuubi.

What else can I expect from you?

"Enjoy the gift I give you!"

Obito had come here as a distraction. White Zetsu was the main force behind the attack, and Obito had no intention of continuing the fight with Minato. White Zetsu was supposed to eliminate the sealing team members and release Kyuubi again.

With his goal achieved, Obito used his Kamui and disappear. White Zetsu, after killing the sealing team members and destroying the seal with wooden spikes, sank into the ground and vanished.

Roar!

Before the seals binding him could be completely released, Kyuubi let out an angry roar and began to gather a Tailed Beast Ball.

"Sorry…I..." the Sandaime was unable to form any words. He didn't expect such a disaster to occur right under his nose.

Kushina, seriously injured and holding young Naruto, looked at Minato and Toshiro with an apologetic expression.

"Now is not the time to talk about this! Let's deal with Kyuubi first!"

Seeing the violent Kyuubi, Minato was no longer in the mood to comfort his old leader and began forming seals.

"Ninja Art: Summoning Jutsu!"

He summoned Gamabunta to help suppress Kyuubi.

"Minato…are you really going to use that jutsu?"

Looking at Minato's determined eyes, Sarutobi Hiruzen hesitated, unsure of what to say. Despite Minato's caution and respect, his recent actions had caused problems, making Hiruzen regret his own decisions.

"From now on…Naruto and Kushina will need your care, Sandaime-sama."

With the sealing team decimated and hope dwindling, Minato knew they had to split Kyuubi and seal it within Naruto and Kushina, regardless of the cost.

For the sake of his wife, he did not hesitate.

After explaining his final wishes, Minato looked back at Kushina, holding Naruto. He made up his mind.

"Minato!"

Sensing something, Kushina looked up. She had been taken from Kyuubi by the Sandaime and was caring for Naruto. Seeing Minato’s determined eyes, she knew that no matter how she tried to persuade him, it would be futile. Just as she was willing to sacrifice everything for Minato, Minato was willing to do the same for her.

After completing the hand signs, Minato clasped his hands together.

"Reaper Death Seal!"

As this jutsu, a combination of sealing and summoning, was activated, a white-haired figure with two horns, chanting beads in one hand, and a sharp blade in the other appeared behind Minato.

"Is this the Shinigami of this world?"

Through his Sharingan, Toshiro observed the figure licking the sharp blade with a scarlet tongue, as if it were anticipating a delicious meal. An inexplicable chill enveloped Toshiro's heart, especially when the figure seemed to notice his gaze and glanced in his direction.

Cold sweat broke out on Toshiro’s back.

'Is this guy targeting me?'

An idea surfaced in Toshiro's mind.

'I wonder if the Sandaime Hokage knows this jutsu.'

The Sandaime, known as the "Professor of Ninjutsu," could skillfully use the five chakra elements and was familiar with all of Konoha's ninjutsu. He might know this one too.

If that's the case, it would be interesting if he chose not to intervene now...

After casting a vague glance at the observing Sandaime Hokage, Toshiro decided not to voice his thoughts and moved far away.

Next came the final farewell to the Minato family. Even the Sandaime Hokage left with him, leaving space for the family.

Early the next morning, explosive news spread throughout the Hidden Leaf Village.

The Fourth Hokage, admired by almost all the younger generation of Konoha ninjas, had sacrificed his life to seal the Kyuubi.

One particular young ninja, especially affected by the news, became even more despondent, losing interest in the book that helped him through tought times.

Toshiro, too, faced a lot of trouble.

"Toshiro! I heard you dressed fashionably and gentlemanly last night, really stealing the show!"

Uchiha Mei's voice carried faint sarcasm. Her words were soft, and her expression was calm, lacking any hint of accusation.

But…what does it mean to dress fashionably and be a gentleman?

"Moreover, you ignored the orders of the police force and committed a crime last night, using shadow clones to deceive people and slack at work!"

"Hna-chan confessed everything. This isn’t the first time you’ve done this!"

"Many clan elders have come to see me. They want me to remind you that the glory of Uchiha must not be tarnished!"

"Uh~"

How embarrassing is it for your family to find out that I've been to a pleasure house when the village was on alert?

Toshiro now truly realizes that it was all Obito’s fault. If Obito hadn’t summoned Kyuubi near Pleasure Street, none of this would have happened.

And judging by Mei-nee's expression, she was genuinely angry about his behavior last night.

"It’s my fault. My sister’s husband passed away early, and I got married early. I didn’t take good care of you, so you ended up in shady places."

Mei spoke with sadness as she looked at the photos of Toshiro’s parents on the shrine.

The situation made Toshiro's head spin.

Not only did Mei-nee come over, but his father and mother were also mobilized to ensure he acknowledged his mistakes and corrected them!
