Philadelphia...Journal entry (Patreon)

Philadelphia has, as is usually the case for me, been full of ups and downs. Certain cities are easy to maintain an even keel in - NYC, Columbus, Kalamazoo, Houston, Chicago, and Minneapolis to name a few. Cities vary by model with respect to the work in each. I have a few out of the way places that have been lovely. In Philadelphia, I tend to go from absolutely wonderful shoots to really odd experiences. I usually have at least one cancellation - which, on this trip after checking references, I'm thankful for my one token cancellation. This week, I've shot with some really wonderful people, and had very few odd experiences. Overall, it's been lovely - I'm even counting the cancellation as an okay one. I got to visit my favorite museum (the Mütter Museum that I talked about in a previous entry), and I found a little pair of white vintage gloves in a small consignment shop. They have lace insets around the wrists and I'm going to wear them in an upcoming shoot. I might also use them for a set here. Tonight I'm eating pho with Scott Worldwide Photo and shooting a few sets with him. I get to style some of it and will be excited to post these on tumblr and Instagram. I also shot two self portrait sets today that I uploaded already to the $10 tier. I hope you are having a lovely night/day!
