Patreon crackdowns (Patreon)

There have been a lot of models having their accounts here suspended in the past few weeks, but especially in the past few days. Some of you might subscribe to a few of these accounts, and I know the models themselves often rely on the platform for a large chunk (if not all) of their income. So, most are working to comply with rules of the site. For those who have not been suspended, one way to prevent being suspended is to have NO PUBLIC NUDE content available. I feel like this information is fairly obvious. It’s right in the TOS. Yes, I think it’s rather puritanical, and the random crackdown is unfortunate. But if you are reading this and you have any public nudity on your page (this includes censored nudity and implied nudity), delete it now or make it private. They will suspend your account, and the artistic integrity of an image will not save you. Put clothed photos (not even lingerie, don’t push it) as your cover, profile image, and tier rewards images. Make sure your account is marked as adult if you post nudity. Don’t use the site to market cam shows/dates/overt sexual services. They will delete you. That is becoming very apparent. If you don’t like this and find it to be inconsistent with how you want to market your content while remaining consistent with your values, now would also be a good time to look into creating your own website with private galleries/blog space. Sorry for the long winded post everyone. I just feel like so many are being caught off-guard and have no clue why their accounts were shut down. These are some major reasons why this is happening.
