Then they delivered it today. But, they also gave me up to $100 reimbursed funds to get clothing. So, I bought the comfiest sweater (seen above). It is my new favorite and it is super warm. I also bought it at full price, which is something I never really do. The downside to this was that I had to go to the mall - I hate going to the mall - because I was short on time. But the nice photographer I shot with, Chris Widick, drove me there. I was immediately reminded why I dislike the mall - mostly terrible restaurants, bad prices, stupid music, and people just lolling about doing nothing. The mall is basically a postmodern hellhole, and every time I go into one it makes me think of a Don Delillo novel for some reason. White Noise to be specific.
I've also eaten barbecue already! And it was amazing! And I'm about to go and heat up my leftovers and I am incredibly excited about that. I got three meats (pulled pork, brisket, and ribs) and mac n' cheese and coleslaw and fried corn bread - yay, the South. A place where they take a carb, put in a deep fryer, and serve it up with a pat of butter. It's an amazing diet for someone who makes a living being naked on camera hahaha....it's a good thing I didn't have a shoot this morning because good grief.
I'm staying with a photographer recommended to me by a friend, Kelsey Dylan. He creates sculptures and paintings for a living, so the hosue is pretty amazing in terms of the decor.
I'm currently still scheduling shoots for here and Atlanta, so my email is a bit crazy at the moment, but I wanted to do a quick update. I hope you're all having a great week!
