Update - Jan 2024 (Patreon)

Short update. New year, new opportunities.

As the reality of my unemployment dawns on me, it becomes increasingly clear how important your support is. So thank you so much for your contributions. If you have any suggestions on how I can bring more value to you, please leave a comment.

On that note, we will host another trivia night shortly, probably with an accompanied AMA session. If you keep track of the discord server we’ll let you know when. I’ll post here as well.

Music update: The Ornn song - Forging On - will release on the 18th of January.

I am currently writing an Aatrox song called Armageddon. I managed to snag the singer from the band Cult of Luna as a feature, and you can bet on it being a pretty hard release.

After that I’m looking to make something a bit more soft again. I don’t particularly enjoy making metal tracks anymore, I just struggle with the writing process alot. Like, the riffs and the sounds are so pushed and don’t really come natural to my pianist fingers.

A while back, I posted a couple of patreon exclusive videos where I did an in-depth walkthrough on how I mixed some songs. They didn’t seem to catch a lot of interest and, they were probably too long too, but since I’m trying to put out more long form content, I decided to try and make something similar again.

I already posted two videos on how I arranged, produced and mixed the Kindred song, and I’ll try to do the same for upcoming releases. I guess the data will have to decide if I keep doing them long term.
