I've been waiting for this one! Yes, Svt is 3rd gen, and something that would help you get to know the boys better is this series available on YouTube called Hit the Road and Svt In the Soop. They both go into the personalities of each of the boys!

No, MAMA's wasn't the first FIRST Daesang received by SEVENTEEN but there was a whole history (and yearly angst lol) with our experience with MAMA. And even if we (fandoms) try to ignore it, MAMA still seems to be the largest and most celebrated award show in Korea... SVT really experienced a lot in MAMA. I can clearly remember a particular year when they attended and didn't receive any award aside from a made-up one, "Breakthrough Achievement Award". You'll probably hear a story about this and followed by the infamous mind-blowing performance of "HIT" where we thinkt SVT channeled there feelings of being upset and disappionted by not getting what they deserved. That's also the same year where Hoshi 'forgot' to do the final greetings when they received the award. In the guide, it said it's because Coups waan't there but for any Carat who watched back then, we felt like Hoshi was mad.
