it's soooooo interesting to see how they prepared for their first performance. But also such hard work and long hours especially when Kingdom for all the groups weren't a dedicated schedule so to have everything else going on at the same time PLUS having to prepare for a competition show is just nuts to me...

I know what you mean about being worried for Channie every time he does a flip. Actually a few months ago he mentioned that there was a flip in the choreo for a performance (they were trainees at the time, during the survival show) and whilst practicing said flip he landed on his neck and was partially paralysed! But he went through with the performance (I can’t remember if it was a day or a few days later) after getting acupuncture to help him move! I can’t imagine how much pain he would have been in during that performance but he didn’t let on at all (he didn’t perform the flip). I watched Melanie’s reaction to the behind as well and she was kinda amazed at how chan flips by the end because he rotates in a way that brings him forward in the air rather than backwards. Not sure how to explain it since I don’t know about acrobatics but it was really interesting to hear her talk about it.

it's actually insane the amount of hours they work...I would love to know their daily schedules because I'd like to see the time that's scheduled for them for physio, massages etc because all that stuff is so important! I worked with a lot of professional dancers and how the company sets their time is amazing. like practice for these hours, then they get sent to the physio, ice therapy, massages etc to make sure their bodies aren't getting run down too quickly. I just hope it's the same for kpop artists.

You’d think they would and hopefully they do, they may not have in the past but with the advances in awareness in regards to maintaining physicality for athletes and performers you’d think companies (especially larger ones) would make sure to put physical therapies in the schedule. It might be a good question to ask ex idols should the chance arise.
