in the manga Vasily did shoot all of his shots (5) into the coffin (Ogata only got 1 shot bc the gun was vintage.) It makes more sense in manga that he's able to confirm where's the shots came from then locate Vasily's whereabout imo. hehe

thanks for the reaction!!! especially an ogata discussion part, very satisfying the man has every issues and illness on earth and this is just the beginning of ogata spiral era. shiraishi being bros is everything bc initially Noda didn't intend for him to join the main duo but then his chemistry and ability to silly up the mood kinda did its thing and now they're the golden trio!! never separate them ever.

For some historical context, Tsar Alexander II is best known for his attempts at liberal reforms in the Empire ,the abolition of serfdom being one of the best known reforms (though the former serfs had to pay off a massive debt). He was assassinated in an attempt to overthrow the autocratic system, but ironically would result in the far more repressive Alexander III to be put in power and undo his father's reforms. Such repression one of the reasons why a large portion of the Jewish community immigrated to America.
