Just to be fair, they said that the clan member used the same technique as Gojo, but that doesn't mean he had the same level of mastery of the technique as Gojo.

Why do I kind of like the "Malevolent Kitchen" translation? I mean, the guy basically dices you up and then cooks you, so it kinda works

At the bare minimum, the clan head would be equivalent teen Gojo but with more time to develop the Limitless technique. Basically Gojo without his awakening. RCT and Red/Purple is up for debate.

This also doesn't mean he DIDN'T have the same level of mastery. It's a bit ridiculous how defensive Gojo simps get when literally ANY plot point even remotely shows him not being the top.

Just pointing out the earnest fact that we dont know how strong the head was, so we shouldnt automatically assume that Gojo couldnt hold his own. Thats why I added 'to be fair'. Not sure how that makes me a simp or why your so mad about it, but you good bro? Lol

The fact that hollow purple was recorded throughout history in the Gojo family means that someone was capable of it before Gojo. So there's a chance that this ancestor was capable of what Gojo was capable of right after learning RCT.
