Sarah Lynn was let down by everyone in her life Seen this show multiple times, and the last 5 minutes always bring both existential dread and tears to my eyes. "See, Sarah Lynn? We're not doomed. In the great, grand scheme of things we’re just tiny specs that will one day be forgotten. So it doesn’t matter what we did in the past, or how we’ll be remembered. The only thing that matters is right now, this one spectacular moment we are sharing together. Right, Sarah Lynn?...."

I loved the points you guys made in this episode and just how much you picked up on! It really is sad, and although she said she had intentions to do drugs again, it was bojack that pulled her into such a deadly month-long bender, and provided her the heroine that ultimately killed her :( It makes me so sad, especially with how much she was thinking about being an architect and going back to college through the entire episode, because she could have! she could have stayed sober, gone back to college, and became an architect! even if she DIDNT stay sober, even if it was AFTER the bender, she could have done it and found that self worth and happiness. Whose to say she wouldnt have turned her life around once she was back home? Its just a sad situation, and you see it coming, but you don't want it to come true :(

I just love how hes talking about how the only thing that matters is whats happening right here, right now. its just so ironic considering that sarah lynn was dying right beside him. Like the moment really DOES matter, and it could really serve to teach bojack some things about himself and who he is, this idea that he keeps avoiding, and the accountability hes trying to run from. He cant make amends because hes only really sorry for how his impact has affected himself. He gives all these selfish apologies, and in the end he talks about how it actually doesn't even matter because we live in the present, but even then, in that moment, he was making the worst mistake of his life, leading sarah lynn to her grave.
