tbf Robota has a direct regular connection with Shinji, so it would be way easier to find him, compared with Walnut. That isn't really plot convenience. Walnut not being able to find him, on its own, might be a different story tho.

I really love Majima as an antagonist. I always enjoy a villain with agency and personal objectives that don't just revolve around beating the hero. I especially enjoy it when a villain's personal objectives bring them into direct conflict with other villains in a way that is actually beneficial to the hero. Who doesn't love a good old fashioned "temporary alliance to fight against a greater evil" story beat? Now, do I think Majima is going to fully work with Chisato to achieve a goal? No, I'd say their respective ambitions are too disparate to ever really be able to coexist peacefully. Do I think that Majima fucking with Alan will indirectly benefit Chisato? Almost certainly, even if Chisato does die and Majima just ends up unintentionally avenging her. Now, while a Chisato and Majima teamup seems almost inconceivable, a Takina and Majima teamup to avenge Chisato strikes me as perfectly believable. Takina would, at this point, burn the entire world for Chisato's sake without hesitation. I think that's pretty clear, and will become more clear in the next few episodes, so if the worst comes to pass and Majima approaches her with an opportunity to retaliate, I could very easily see them hitting Alan together.
