We're coming up on the end of Space Dandy!!  As such we'll be getting this poll done in advance so we all know what's coming next.

This poll is music themed!

Vote for ANY AND ALL shows that you would like to see us react to! We always take note of which shows get plenty of votes, but don't win. Whichever gets the most votes we will release early access reactions on the Friday when Space Dandy's final episode goes public.

NOTE: Love Live will be both the School Idol Project and Sunshine series. Jacob has seen a few episodes of Nana and K-On!

Since its music themed and post Space Dandy, you should really check out Kids on the Slope/Sakamichi no Apollon. It a coming of age story set in the 60s where two boys connect through the magic of jazz. It, like Space Dandy, Cowboy Bebop, and Samurai Champloo, was directed by Shinichiro Watanabe.

I am happy with K-On or Zombie Land Saga if it's gonna be between those two. So I can't lose. But if I'd have to choose one I would pick the shorter of the two shows. ZLS.

This is a big case of most hyped =/= best. ZLS is popular because it's recent and has a ton of memes about it, but a lot of others on here are more consistently well written and would make for better discussion.

I am more than happy to see Zombieland Saga pull ahead, I think that series is brilliant for what it is. That said it would have been kind of cool to have Symphogear on this poll as another music related show

What the heck is with this lineup? I watched most of them and none of them strike me as exceptional. I could choose NANA, but i don't like it that the story is left hanging. If you are really going for music, why is Beck, Sakamichi no Apollon, Nodame Cantabile, Carol and Tuesday, Piano no Mori not on the list?

I voted for Given because it's really damn good and in my opinion the best from the shows on the list (Nana would be 2nd, not 1st cuz of the ending) but of course it doesn't win because not that many people watched it because they brushed it off

Oh the salt in the comments. Just because you like older anime like Nana which btw was considered a normie show before. Doesn't make you better. But I do think that it'd be fun if they choose a series to react to in another way then popular vote. They could have a slot they choose the winner randomly from the list by drawing, would be more versatile and unpopular gems could have a chance too.

I get you, but some people only find time to watch seasonal shows. I have wanted to watch Hibike and K-On! for a long time. However, with reactions and seasons I just don't start older stuff as much. Can't exactly blame people when they simply are voting for what they have seen

Zach, I do understand why this “recency bias” is a thing in these polls, I really do. But I just can’t help it, when objectively worst show in the lineup runs away with it just because of that and some memes. There are shows that I absolutely can’t watch, like Space Dandy or Grand Blue, but they are still good for what they are. And there’s things like ZLS, that fall into “painfully mediocre” category. Well, at least it gives me a reason to finish it now, as I’ve put it “on hold” at around ep. 5.
