Haha, only seven admirals to remember? Try two dozen and we might be getting closer to the real number. Don't worry though, they'll flesh out all the main characters eventually.

Some episodes contain classical hand-paint scenes and digital graphic scenes. The original was made in 80s. And they tried to digital remake it to sell Blu-ray in 00s. But they didn't have enough money and time to remake all scenes...so they picked only terrible scenes and remade them.

The amount of animation changes in each scene is ridiculous! It goes from 80s to 90s to 00s in the space of seconds in some scenes.

Not at all, the animation thus far has been consistent and in one style. The flip-flopping in animation style that you're talking about (from cel to digital and vice versa) starts in episode 7, however it only becomes noticeable a little bit later in the double digit episodes. Anyway it pretty much stops once you hit episode 50.
