I tried to like this anime. Watched it to episode 5 when it was airing, dropped it. Then I saw the hype I tried to pick it back up starting from the beginning again. I then dropped it at ep. 11. It really was a one of my least favorite anime I've seen in the past few years of seasonal anime.

"Dororo" in a Japanese local dialect means "thief", which is a word play for Dororo being a street urchin thief and also for the 12 demons who "stole" the child's body parts.

Hyakki in mind is younger than Dororo. Person who grew up like him can't have brain like normal person in his age. He only has big body and undeveloped properly mind of a little child

Not really joking, if you break it all down, the premise is really simple. It's honestly even more simple in the original material.

the ED is a remix of a song called amazarashi by Inochinifusawashiii, I highly highly highly suggest and recommend checking out the original version as it was used in the music video for the video game Nier, both that version of the song and the video accompanying it are true masterpieces and emotionally impactful in ways I cannot even beginn to put nto words

Well no not really... Just because you cant talk doesn't mean that you have the brain of a child. Loads of people that grew up with wild animals prove this.

3 episodes and 9 episodes is a great difference. If I'm 9 episodes into a show and it's still not interesting, it is in fact boring. All judgements made on anime are subjective, which is exactly what the statement I made is. Whether you agree with it or not is entirely up to you.

what do you mean you can't call it boring lol. Maybe they are not into samurai stuff etc..... I found it boring coz the characters aren't appealing to me. I really didn't care about any of the characters and the plot. and also I'm not into samurai or ninja. like I hated Naruto so bad lol idk :( Yes it is a popular show I can see why so many like it. I just don't think it is that great. just because many fans like it, doesn't mean everyone would enjoy it. opinions are subjective anyway. i might try to watch again later...

Umm... Idk where you dug that info from, but you've got it all backwards. Amazarashi is the name of the BAND that made the ED (which in turn is called "Sayonara Gokko"), as well as "Inochi Ni Fusawashii" which was indeed used in something Nier-related.
