I believe a big part of the reason why Rui is so negative towards Hina taking part in her boyfriend's affair was actually mentioned in episode one. Hina and Rui's mother's first husband (isn't that a mouthful) left her for another woman and yet despite knowing what that put her mother through, Hina is now being the other woman in such a relationship, which sort of implies that she doesn't care that she is just going to be hurting an innocent woman even if those aren't Hina's intentions. Natsuo also knows this which adds more to his distaste for it beyond har har I'm in love with Hina har.

Right. Hina is beyond hypocritical. She knows enough about what cheating does to the spouse; she can not cry ignorance. Yet, still she goes along with it. Her actions are in a way a betrayal to her own mother even if she doesn't see them that way. But Rui picks up on all of these things, since she has a clearer head, not being wrapped up in the love Hina is wrapped in.

Two people are involved in an affair. It would be different if Hina didn't know he was married, but she does know. I would say that is a moral choice on her part and one that's reasonable for a society to frown upon as it pertains to the importance of marital stability.
