Haikyuu2x23

You can check out the transliteration, but Amalee covers for Haikyuu openings are amazing! So catchy! “That’s just sexy” I relate so much. Oikawa’s serves are just a separate sexual orientation lol. That gets on a whole new level in the stage play, where Oikawa’s role is played by a guy who actually played volleyball for a while. I’m not sure if you noticed, but when Hinata told Kageyama that as long as he’s there, Kageyama’s invincible — he actually quoted Kageyama’s own lines! Kageyama told him that back during the game against the neighbourhood association when Hinata felt a bit down because of Asahi’s overwhelming power as the ace. Watching you hyperventilating is incredibly relatable lol/ The way they unravelled Kyotani’s backstory and spoke about team effort, it was simply outstanding (and that music in the background was so nice too). What a depth to an opposing team! Huge kudos to Yahaba as well for his wonderful moment. The third year that told Yahaba to leave Leave kyotani alone — that’s Matsukawa. If I’m not mistaken, Iwaizumi and Oikawa have actually been playing together since primary school! They go waaay back. Hearing your predictions was interesting, I cannot wait for the next week already! Separate kudos to Daichi’s and Iwaizumi’s receives, which are simply glorious. And I’m not sure if you actually saw this graph or if you were just guessing, but it’s a graph from the official haikyuu documentary, which I can’t for the love of god finish subbing in English, and you were absolutely right! Haikyuu made volleyball much more popular in Japanese schools. https://twitter.com/TrianaNero/status/797441487445360640

I love the title for the next episode

You call Kyotani Kyoto ani but Kyotani actually means Capital city valley and Kyoto is capital of Japan. A lot of Haikyuu players have their names based on cities and regions in Japan. Yamaguchi is also name of the city.

Yahaba is basically the captain in waiting for Abba Josai, so his threat "i will never forgive you" would actually carry weight. On the othe rhand, if he, as a setter, makes a working relationship with Kyotani, then they will make scary opponents for Karusino next year (maybe not as scary as Oikiwa and Izuwami, but close).

I love the fact that by having that little development between Yahaba and Kyoutani, they're subtly laying the foundation for Seijoh's future setter-ace partnership after Oikawa and Iwaizumi graduate. Both Yahaba and Kyoutani are second years.

After you finished S3 you should definitely watch the extra scenes from the movies (you can find them on youtube). You don't need to watch the movies because they're just a recap from the anime, but the extra scenes are awesome!

Xeltos

Yes! Aoba Johsai's extra scene is great at the end of S2 They def need to watch it. There's a good one on DailyMotion by Sarapyon1228 The one on youtube is missing dialogue.

Ousmane Dembele

Hope they watch seijoh’s bonus scenes before they start on s3 (they can even watch it after e24)

Waluigi

Wah!
