Copyright Claim Issues (Patreon)

First off, I'm sorry y'all are having to deal with this. Just in the last two weeks, JoJo's and MHA have been targeted with a barrage of copyright claims. Thankfully this isn't the end of world (getting strikes), and we have a couple things we're doing behind the scenes to fix this. However, if our plans continue to fail, we will do things HunterxHunter style, with no show footage, timer based, full length reactions. Thank you for being patient with us as we work to solve this problem. - Caleb and Jacob

I watch everything in full lenght anyway so this doesn't really concern me but if this trend continues i struggle to find a reason not to drop down to the 5$ tier.

JoJo has been known to have problems with any footage being shown. Along with anything that has TBS logo on it like megalobox.

Is it the same company hitting you guys because Blind Wave,Sammie Kohn Kimchi & Tofu, DeeBee Geek and more have been getting MHA (You guys are the only ones doing JoJos) Claimed the last few weeks. The claims come in as Toho but if you dispute it they go to a company called comeso.org and then after a month they drop the claim...

Sorry, but the day I have to go out of my way to manually sync stuff is the day I stop watching. I stopped watching the Megalobox reactions because of it and the same will happen to the other ones. HxH works well because there is someone nice enough in the youtube comment section doing the sync for us, but that's an exception.

Does not effect me in anyway as i watch all the reactions in full length anyway... Sure its bad for people that are watching from phone or who are just too lazy to make the little effort required to pullup the series on other window and synk it... but for others you get full reactions without cuts and its less work for them to not have to cut it(maby we could get more wink wink) and also this way there is no fear of copyright claims.

So that mean we lose another $10 privilege patrons? No im not complaining (as im only $5 patrons) but if copyright strikes keep getting every single show you guys reacting to, i think its a good idea to think about another privileges for $10 patrons. yea all youtubers get targeted right now... I just wish we had a good alternative to go to. I mean not youtube. Once people leave youtube in masses they cant stay with this shit

I think better solution would be to post discussion only on youtube/early access and the reaction part somewhere else with the link under the discussion, that way you won't be giving away the $10 priviledge for free

So I decided to increase my pledge to $15, as I usually do without any cash on my bank initially as Patreon bills me monthly anyway. But it tried to bill me TWICE this month instead of waiting, and now I am stuck at “pledge cant be processed” what a bull lmao. I cant even revert to $10 ^^

It's what blindwave does with their Aot and CG reaction. They post the discussion on youtube, and have the actual reaction on their web site, through Vimeo, It works out well.

It's still imporant tho, not for us but for bros, cause if they just keep letting $10 videos for free then many people will drop their pledges from 10 to 5, and that will affect their income

I'm pretty sure they would start including the discussion in the fl reactions as well, if they had to change format, it's what they did when HxH switched to fl, they started including the discussion with it.
