yes while yachi is a plot device for narration, she is stil a awesome character.

OMG I love Yachi so much, I'm glad you guys like her. The scene in the beginning is probably one of my favorite scenes from Haikyuu - it had me dying from beginning to end!

Yes this show is about volley and balls. I mean volleyball. But seriously, Yachi is sweet and adorable! "But now they need to test it... " literally, they have to pass their tests lol. And you aren't lying there are a ton of ships in Haikyuu. Great reaction guys, this season is gonna be a blast!

Envy and Jealousy does not equal romantic thoughts. Girls that want an ass like Kim K or boys that want the abs of "x" sports athlete are not swooning over said person. Most girls want what Yachi wanted, smooth hair and perfect skin.

Shy: chill out dude. I just interpret, from my own experience and that of others, that the level of detail and manner with which Yachi observes Kiyoko is somewhat suspect. My opinions have no bearing on the show or your own opinions about it so there's no need to try and convince me that I'm wrong. Cameron Barb: I specifically used the word 'headcanon' for a reason. And also the word 'maybe'. It's all hypothetical.

Haikyuu actually passed the Bechdel test. Michimiya talked to her teammates and tried to cheer them up after they lost. It was in season 1, episode 16. Even if it wouldn't have, it's a shonen and the Bechdel test ist not something you should expect a shonen to pass either way :p
