Gon is a Hunter, along with Kurapika and Leorio, but poor Killua! I mean, wow! He didn't even fight his brother, and that was the most chilling conflict in the show by far! I guess I can say it now, Killua is my favorite character in HxH, I just love his duel nature, the killer and the kid all wrapped up into one. Illumi is actually one of my favorites too. He is so weird and yet cool all at the same time. In fact, I've always found Killua's family to be one of the most interesting aspects of the show. They are definitely not a typical family, but they ARE a family in all their deadly strange ways. It's like the Addams family, but even darker and more dangerous.

Very true, the theme that plays when Illumi finally starts getting serious is basically Killua's family theme. I won't say their name yet since it hasn't been revealed, but it's one of the best themes in the series, and it only gets better.

I honestly prefer the old HxH because I feel like this one skips out on minor details to catch up to where the old one ended, since this one keeps going after that. But this is still SUPERB. But still missing a few things the manga and the old version showed. That being said I can't wait until you get further into this show, it's still just a baby from your perspective. I also think that you missed out of the fact that Killua was wondering why Hanzo let Gon pass, but here Killua was basically under the exact same situation Gon was but failed. He was attacked/tortured, but mentally and gave in as opposed to Gon. So in a way Killua gave himself the answer to why Hanzo let Gon pass.
