one thing to keep in mind, this Anime is adapting a vary old Manga, the insane pace has more to do with them knowing exactly what they could/couldn't cut from the original story(Episode 1 covered several chapters of the manga for example)

Re-watching season 1 it's making me realize how much cheesy it is! The first time i was so mesmerized that i didn't really paid attention to it so up close, but now every time Speedwagon makes a reaction part of me is laughing, but other part is cringing hard.

A quick note I haven’t really watched your review to the end so maybe it was addressed, but it wasn’t that hamon had some special property that restored bluefords humanity, but that hamon made him feel pain, Jojo the kind soul he is, picked up on it and refused to fight an enemy who was already suffering, this is what made blueford reawaken to his humanity.
