Really wish you guys had gone for Kuroko no Basket instead because there's a lot more to discuss and theorize, but I'm glad for the people who want this.

There's no powerscale and villains in Haikyuu. So sorry, but your disagreements are purely based on the fact you like Haikyuu more. That's fine, but let's be realistic. It's more high school sports than a true shonen.

Kuroko no Basket is awesome and has great characters. I usually describe it as a DBZ-esque sports anime. Hard to say what I enjoy more, KnB is a flashy shonen with wicked special attacks while Haikyuu has individual character growth and is (as said already) a high school sports anime with a lot of heart. Both are intense and adrenaline pumping!
