UPDATE - No Immediate Changes! (Patreon)

UPDATE 06/28/21

For right now, I've decided to keep the current monthly payment system as-is.  I won't be making any immediate changes to my Patreon account.  At the end of the summer I'll reevaluate if I still need to make any changes.  An alternative solution may be to take more breaks (thus more free months). This will allow me to catch up on producing videos when I get too busy.

Supporters, Enthusiasts, and Fanboys,

In 2020, I started posting my Sims 4 Machinimas.  We all know what happened in 2020. COVID happened.  I was laid off from my job, I was on unemployment for a while, then I slowly went back into the freelance market.  I had a lot of free time in lockdown, and so I put my creative energies to work making these videos.

I created this Patreon account with no expectation of making a living at this.  If it supplemented my paycheck that would be great.  However, the $$ I earn here is in no way proportional to the amount of time I put into these videos.  I make them because I enjoy telling these stories.  Yet I’ve always said I would stop making them if I got too busy or too bored, if it starts to feel like work.

It’s now Summer 2021 and I'm fully self-employed and busier than ever.  I no longer have as much free time to create the same amount of content each month.  I’m still planning to make more videos but at a slower pace, as my free time allows.

There are basically 3 options:

• I can remove my Patreon account.
• You can continue to support me without monthly content expectations.
• I can move to a Pay-Per-Post format.

My preference would be a Pay-Per-Post format, however I want to give you guys an opportunity to voice an opinion.
