Chapter One: Bella's Secret

LIke many Sims franchise players, I’m a little fascinated with the Goth Family and the mysterious disappearance of Bella Goth. Growing up with The SIms 2, I imagined there must be some dark backstory to this enigmatic family, yet I wasn’t satisfied with the Alien Abduction theory.

While Mortimer remarried and Cassandra put up with Don Lothario’s cheating ways, my Alexander Goth grew up gay, was a virtuoso on the piano, had a romantic teenage crush, continued the relationship in college, had a terrible breakup, then joined a secret society.

I’m tempted to revisit this old storyline in Sims 4 Machinima, perhaps after exploring several other gay-themed worlds and concepts (so many ideas, so little time). Yet I still wanted to explore the questions: What really happened to Bella Goth?  What is the dark secret behind her disappearance? Expect some twists and turns.
