Labyrinth Runner + Higemaru Contest Winner (Patreon)

This week I bring you a new game running on Konami hardware: Labyrinth Runner, aka Trick Trap. This is a fantasy game, tough but with a nice learning curve.
This 1987 title runs on relatively cheap hardware. It uses a single K007121 (GFX) chip instead of two, which was more common. It has a single 8-bit CPU too which handles both graphics and sound. The PCB is thus quite small and this must have been a budget development.
I was hoping it to run quite smoothly as I already have the K007121 working to a good deegree in Contra and Combat School cores. But there several graphic glitches and a problem with sound channels that might also be related to K007121.
But Furrtek is coming to the rescue as he is working on mapping the K007121. So I hope we will get access to all its secrets soon.
While Furrtek finishes, all the cores using K007121 will be in beta status. Please do not distribute.
On a different set of news, we had a lot of entries in the Higemaru contest. Secrets were found and top scores were smashed one after another. Finally the winner is DaniGMX with 1,646,150 points. OMG. That's like 10x my best score. Congratulations DaniGMX, you'll get your SiDi prize courtesy of ManuFerHi.
