I haven't filmed anything for a little over a month. And not because I have a lot of other things to do...I just don't feel like it. I have a new lens, there are models who want to work with me (and they are really cool and interesting to me), but I have the impression that I am shooting the same thing. When I see some cool location, someone's backstage, other people's photos - it all inspires me. But as soon as I think about taking pictures there, my enthusiasm disappears. I don't understand, do I just have to wait until this insatiable desire to shoot returns... or do I just have to start and "the appetite will come during the meal"? I dont understand myself

When a writer is challenged, the best thing they can do is keep writing. Same for your work I suspect. These photos show so well that while you struggle your eye is not just good, but more.

There are different approaches. Some people like to work only when they feel inspired. Some like to find inspiration in the process. Some find comfort in regularity of shoots. Some design their plan for the whole year and every month mark their little goals being achieved. And those with probably the strongest personalities and self confidence just improvise and don’t let themselves feel lost. Which of these are you, Julia? And which one would you rather be?😊

I am one of those who find inspiration in the process. I get inspired when I shoot. But in fact, due to the desire to do something new, to improve my skill - I am inspired in the process and disappointed in the result. I think how to avoid this. To suffocate this perfectionist in yourself 😃
