I'm starting to feel old

Old not physically but morally... All these new innovations - bitcoins, nft, mining - I really want to understand, but this information is so tightly absorbed into me.

oh, I feel like I'll be taking courses from the youth or asking my nieces to bring me up to date so I can keep up with the world.

P.S  it was the most extreme shooting in my life. There was simply no heating in the studio where I was filming, and the studio is located on the territory of an old factory. In general, out of two booked ones, I only had half an hour. Then my lips just turned blue and teeth were chattering .

Excellent work. That was a very productive half hour. Love a mirror shot. PS: isn’t a NFT just a jpeg? And does anyone understand bitcoin.

You can study cryptography and understand bitcoin (you can find books focusing on bitcoin alone as well), and it is interesting as such, but not useful for most people. More useful for most is the psychological side of bitcoin and how the price fluctuates based on people's feelings, so you can make money from those fluctuations. Bitcoin has some form of fundamental value in a sense that it can be used to make cryptographically verified transactions and it costs money to make (mine) new bitcoins. NFT is basically a scam, unfortunately, so there's nothing interesting about the technology (it's a cryptographically signed hyperlink, but the target resource behind the link can change or disappear at any time and be available publicly) but of course it's remarkable in the sense that so many people are putting real money on it in the hopes of fast profits. And ofc some have profited, too, at the cost of the next owner. But there's no inherent value in it at all. It cannot verify ownership of an image file, for example, despite that's what you'd expect it to do. Here's an article by Moxie, who is an actual cryptography researcher and not a "crypto bro": https://moxie.org/2022/01/07/web3-first-impressions.html The pics were beautiful as ever, so sorry to hear it was so cold! Hopefully you don't feel that old anymore. 99 % of people who think they understand crypto don't. Probably understanding that you don't understand them is better than thinking that you do despite being clueless.
