Moirai was the first lifeform of the Celestial Realm, known as the Destiny Spider. However, he hated his appearance, so he preferred a humanoid form. As a divine beast with a powerful ability, Moirai reigned uncontested, especially since deities who practiced the four edicts could continually comprehend the edicts to increase their power.

In contrast, elemental deities stopped at the Highgod realm, and only their race determined their upper strength. It was still unknown that practitioners of the elemental laws could increase their strength by fusing different mysteries.

By chance, Moirai stumbled upon the High Sovereign spark and became the number one ruler of the Celestial Realm. Many gods had yet to discover the difference between a Sovereign and a deity, so they resisted his conquest, only to meet death. It would not be an understatement to say that over ten percent of all gods died under Moirai's hand. Even though it was still in the early eon of the universe, the number of deaths was still astronomical.

Once he finished becoming the hegemon of the Celestial Realm, Moirai set his sights on the other planes. He wasn't as so foolish as to assault another higher realm without gathering knowledge. So far, the Nether Realm was equally as tumultuous as the Celestial Realm, and he heard that the High Sovereign of Death had a unique treasure known as the Netherworld Heart.

Although not as prominent as the High Sovereign of Death, the High Sovereign Life was equally as hard to deal with. Although all the other Sovereigns of Life banded together, they were helpless under the High Sovereigns of Life's divine abilities.

In contrast, the Infernal Realm, which should have the most turmoil, was peacefulness. The status of Sovereigns was exalted, so regular gods could not get any information on them. Despite this, Moirai still learned of the significant number of changes occurring, such as the setup of the Sovereign army and the usage of inkstone.

Moirai sneered. In his eyes, the High Sovereign of Destruction had to be weak. If he were strong, he would have united the whole Infernal Realm. Otherwise, why would he use parlor tricks to maintain order? Only strength was needed!

Feeling that he discovered the best target, the High Sovereign of Fate implemented his plan and brought his army over. In truth, the army was just all the Sovereigns of Fate.

"Submit to me, Moirai, or die!" He said using his divine sense upon arrival in the Infernal Realm.

"Aren't you a little too overconfident?"

Moirai narrowed his eyes as an elfin figure appeared in front of him. The elfin figure's speed was shockingly fast, even for Moirai. Not long after, six other Sovereigns appeared behind the first Sovereign.

"Are you here to submit?" Moirai felt like the High Sovereign of Destruction wasn't so simple as he had thought, but he had already issued a challenge. If he backed down now, how would the other Sovereigns think of him?

Akasha sighed and held his head. "Idiot."

Moirai felt a vein pulse. Ever since he had become the leader of the Sovereigns of Fate, no one had dared to scold him like this before. Without another word, he took out a spindle and whipped the threat towards Akasha.

The other Sovereigns of Fate also began to attack, displaying their unique abilities.

"Take care of them. If you lose, then I can find other deities to become Sovereigns," Akasha said as he turned into a black-colored light and shot towards Moirai.

Boson and the other Sovereigns of Destruction shared a look, feeling a bit dismayed. They already feared Akasha after he destroyed an Intermediate Sovereign in one attack, but now they also might get killed? They directed all their hatred towards the Sovereigns of Fate. If it weren't for them, why would they experience disaster?

In a few moments, the Sovereigns shifted the battlefield into the chaotic space. Akasha was now decked out in dragonic armor of black, much like the future Four Divine Beast Clan's ability to transform.

Around Akasha were four swords exuding destruction-type aura. These were four sword-shaped Sovereign artifacts forged from the hardest part of the Sable Leviathan. In his hand was a magic staff with a giant blade attached to the bottom, a sword staff.

Moirai felt his movement and attack turn sluggish wherever the four swords passed. The worst part was that he felt his body become and even showed hints of disintegrating. Frowning, he distanced himself and began to use long-range attacks against Akasha.

As a Sovereign of Fate, his strongest expertise was in the soul. As long as his thread touched Akasha, Moirai had confidence in causing him to fall into a short trance. And on a fight on their level, a short second delay was enough to decide victory and defeat.

However, whenever his threads neared Akasha, the fate-type Sovereign power would dissipate due to Akasha's attack. Moirai frowned and released eight more threads from his spindle-shaped artifact. Even against eight threads, Akasha's destruction domain couldn't destroy the power fueling them fast enough.

Akasha raised the sword staff in hand. Immediately, streams of light erupted from the crystal atop the staff and shot towards the High Sovereign of Fate Moirai.

Moirai snorted and waved his hand, causing the streams of light to curve around him. However, the black lights were endless, causing his attack to weaken. Simultaneously, Akasha was zeroing in on him. This, in turn, forced Moirai to distance him, creating an endless loop between hunter and prey.

By now, Moirai already knew that he had kicked a steel plate. Both sides seemed unable to do anything to the other, but Moirai was clear that Akasha held the upper hand.

"AHHHHHH!!!"

All the Sovereigns turned their attention towards the source to see a Sovereign of Fate turn into a corpse. His fate-type Sovereign spark ejected from his body. At that instant, every Sovereign, including Akasha, shot towards the Sovereign spark.

"Hmpf, this is Sovereign spark under my edict. Don't daydream about getting it!" Moirai shouted as he attacked Akasha.

Akasha sneered in turn. "This spark is your compensation for attacking me. Don't think you can go and please as you like without paying the price!"

"You!" Moirai ignored the Sovereign spark and started to battle Akasha again.

During this time, the battle for the fate-type Sovereign spark reached a heated high, and another Sovereign of Fate was killed. This caused Moirai's expression to turn extremely ugly. "You dare kill another one of my subordinates?!"

"Stop wasting words. Or is that how you planned to conquer the Infernal Realm, by spitting?" Akasha said.

"That's it! You'll pay the price for this!" Moirai shouted and revealed his true form—a divinely white spider spanning kilometers with golden runic scripts all over its body.

Moirai was the first lifeform of the Celestial Realm, the Destiny-Weaving Spider. And its divine ability was known as Destiny Destruction. Whoever was trapped by its thread would receive a soul attack from the present and future.

Even Akasha felt a great sense of danger. Even if he was a Genesis Wyrm, he dared not take the attack head-on, but the number of strings numbered in the millions. Eventually, he failed to dodge and was captured by one of them, and one became two, two became four, and four became hundreds.

Akasha exhaled and stared at Moirai. He activated his strongest attack as well. Behind Akasha, the phantom of a six-winged, six-eyed, and six-horned sable dragon manifested.

Upon seeing this, not only did Moirai feel a grave danger, but so did all the other Sovereigns. They stopped their struggle and back far away from the battle between the two High Sovereigns.

"Since I became a Sovereign, this is the first I unleashed this ability. I call it Soul Extinction." Akasha said.

After he said those words, the Genesis Wyrm phantom roared, and Moirai felt frozen in space. Even his divine ability was slowed. Next, Moirai's transformed back into his human form, with an ashen face and unconcealed terror.

Moirai didn't bother to leave any harsh words and turned into a streak of silver light, feeling through the chaotic space. Seeing this, the other Sovereigns of Fate didn't dare to linger and fled as well.

Akasha snorted and raised his sword staff. Sword-shaped energy shot out from the sword part of the staff towards the fleeing Sovereigns. Not even the spacial tides could hinder its movement. He didn't chase as he wasn't completely unaffected by Moirai's divine ability.

He had the confidence to kill Morai, but he didn't want to become the mantis stalking the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind. The battle had already caught the attention of the Sovereigns from the Nether Realm and Life Realm. They had already entered chaotic space and observed the battle between Akasha and Moirai.

In addition, Akasha was defending against Orloff. The Bula race was truly heaven-defying in being able to program their nature. As someone who has lived for an innumerable number of years, Akasha was clear how hard constantly focusing on one thing was. While he was creating the spells, he had to take constant breaks. Else he might go crazy.

Akasha didn't want to become the reason why Orloff became the High Sovereign of Fate. In fact, it would be better if he could kill Orloff while he was still a deity. Truthfully speaking, Akasha rather admired Orloff, but how much he admired him was equal to the amount he detested Augusta.

Since the Sovereigns of Life and Death didn't have any interest in conversing, Akasha also returned to the Infernal Realm.

"What happened to the two Sovereign sparks?" Akasha asked.

Thanks to the benefits of faith, the Sovereigns of Destruction more powerful mastery of the edicts than the Sovereigns of Fate, resulting in two the death of two fate-type Lesser Sovereigns.

Bauhinia, the Redbud Sovereign, shared a look with the other Sovereigns before speaking up. She was an Amythest Beast and born with a powerful body and soul. As a result, she was the strongest Sovereign of Destruction after Akasha.

"No, Your Excellency. While we were battling, the spatial tides carried them away." Bauhinia didn't dare to look at Akasha, afraid of displeasing him and meeting the same fate as the other Intermediate Sovereign.

"Is that so?" Akasha lightly said. Logically speaking, it shouldn't be too hard for Sovereigns to grab a Sovereign spark in the chaotic space, but against all odds, it slipped through their hands. He felt as if he grasped something but couldn't pinpoint what it was.

Akasha shrugged. Life returned to normal after Moirai left. After this, the Sovereigns of the four higher realms had an estimation of the strength of each faction. For now, they were content on continuing to cultivate their edicts, but once someone made a breakthrough, then the chaos would once again start.

Akasha wasn't idle either. As a million years passed, he successfully created all spells for war magic from the first to the forbidden rank. His life-type divine clone had become a God and was a hair's breadth away from becoming a Highgod.

Of note, while his life-type divine clone was researching in the Olympus Plane, Typhon had cultivated to become a Highgod of the Laws of Wind. In his hubris, he had challenged Akasha's God divine clone. Naturally, Akasha slew him one attack. Even if his divine clone was only a God, boosted with the power of Will, only Paragons could defeat him.

Since then, no deity in the Olympus Realm dared to have any other thoughts. As for Typhon's corpse, Akasha put it to good use as research material.

Akasha also gained insights into the Edicts of Death and formed a death-type divine clone. However, aside from the Edicts of Destruction, Life, and Death, Akasha found himself at an impasse. He realized he had no talent in any of the elemental laws or Edict of Fate.

Aside from the first divine beast he devoured, he couldn't attain the talents of any of the divine beasts he devoured. So he had to rely on himself. If possible, Akasha sincerely wished to find a trace of the Bula race and gain their racial ability. He wouldn't go as far as to divine his personality to become a tyrant like Augusta, but there's no denying that temperament is important to one's potential.

Unfortunately, even with the Fiendcastle's influence, there was no news of any Bula. During this time, Akasha's death-type clone was touring the Infernal Realm. He didn't dare let his divine clones visit the other higher planes since he feared the Sovereign killing him after thinking his clone was a foreign Sovereign's.

At this time, the concept of Paragon did not exist. So any diety that possessed the power of Will could only be a Sovereign's divine clone.

Strictly speaking, Akasha's death-type divine clone was still at the cusp of becoming a Highgod, which was quite sad in his opinion. Even with the power of faith, both his life and death-type clones were not Highgods. Granted, he focused most of his efforts on the Edicts of Destruction.

While Akasha's death-type divine clone was traveling, he heard someone shouting, "Redding, don't go too far!"

Feeling that the name was familiar, Akasha moved towards the origin of the voice, and he discovered why it was so familiar. The speaker was a divine beast in the shape of a wooly mammoth but with ten tusks and six ears. However, the familiarity didn't come from the divine beast but his opponent.

Four divine beasts against him: an Azure Dragon, Vermillion Bird, White Tiger, and Black Tortoise. It was ancestors of the Four Divine Beast Clan!

Was always a shame what happened to the four. Hopefully this time they can become more than just lesser sovereigns. Just them in canon was able to fight a chief sovereign so just imagine how strong they are as intermediate sovereigns.

I feel like the four should be arrogant, well, probably not as arrogant as Augutus, but at least to other Intermediate and Lesser Sovereigns. They probably didn't fear the elemental chief sovereigns either, since the Four Divine Beast Clan contended with the Augustus Clan with being the number 1 clan.
