Finding clothes has become hard, really hard. Not only am I fat, I’m short, and have big muscles. Finding clothes when I was lean was hard enough with my proportions, but this has gotten riddiculous.

I wear the same thing every day. A button up or tshirt, a belt, jeans, and my boots.

I am so hard pressed to find a button down that fits my gut, shoulders, and chest equally. If it fits in the belly, my sleeves are too long. Or any other combination.

They don’t sell my pants size in normal stores, especially in the very fit state I live in. Most stores stop at 40 inch waists, with the exception of Walmart and Big/Tall stores. Even then, there’s plenty of clothes for big and tall men, but not much for big and short men. I currently wear a 46x29. Which is an impossible size to find anywhere but Walmart. I’ll get my jeans tailored for free at Levi’s.

They don’t even sell belts in my waist size at Macy’s here. I had to go to, once again, Walmart.

This would be easy enough if I wasn’t so fucking rapidly fattened and out of shape that just walking around Walmart, much less trying on pants, leaves me sweaty and winded.

I’ve resorted to the same jeans and suspenders/belt daily or basketball shorts. It’s the only stuff that’s comfortable to house all my new fat rolls without chafing or discomfort.

It’s definitely the most annoying part of being fat. Oh, and putting on socks. That’s the worst thing. I still wouldn’t trade it for anything, especially because I love how my clothes fit me now. My advice to aspiring gainers is find nice things at thrift stores that you like that are sized up that you can grow into so you don’t have to struggle later. Oh and, Walmart is a fat American’s best friend. You can even get some cakes and pastries on the way out.
