96 - Venom 2 wip gif (Patreon)

This wip gif shows 17 stages of workflow screenshots till the final version of this piece of work.

Also shows how at first I was trying to give Venom a tongue just for seeing how it would look like. Obviously, I scrapped the idea, thought it wouldn't fit the scene [EDIT: I added the still pic to the post to show it clearly. It's not that bad, but it's not really fitting here either imo. For the situation, I mean.].
I've spent quite a time on like every freakin detail on this: the teeth, the smile, the headshape, the arms, adjusting the spider symbol's legs on him (cuz it needs to be stretched out according to how Venom's body is stretching too, of course), then the background's look, then deciding how to finalise the colours on this to have it looking good.. was making me rip out my hair too.. xd

So yea, this made me think I should try to expand my artworks this way too, making it patreon exclusive maybe. Some artist do it like that too, so.. 🤔
