Sales Tax coming for Some, Not All, Users (part 2) - July 15/ Aug 1 (Patreon)

Hey there, sinners!

I've received an e-mail from Patreon, that will also be sent to patrons who are affected by it ( on July 12).
So like last time, Patreon is required by law to add sales tax/VAT/GST to some pledges from patrons in most US states and several other countries, so the list just got bigger with a few more places.

"Canada (other than Quebec where Patreon already charges QST),  Thailand, Florida, and Kansas.  If you live in one of those places, you  should see a small amount of tax added to your pledge starting July 15th  for per post, and August 1st for monthly.  

EDIT (2021.07.23.): "We wanted to clarify that the 5% federal GST rate applies  in addition to any local/provincial taxes. So for example, patrons in Quebec may be charged up to 14.975% tax (federal GST of 5%  plus Quebec QST of 9.975%). In some provinces, the combined federal and local tax is called HST, or Harmonized Sales Tax."

Since my patreon page works as "pledge per month" instead of "per post", this's going to take affect from Aug 1rst (altho, I assume new patrons from that region after July 15 will be also charged accordingly(?).
