Misinterpretation (Patreon)

This is one of the roughs for this month but I wont continue with painting because of a misinterpretation. At the beginning of each month, my coworker sends me a list and description of all the characters Ill be doing for the month. This character in particular, I read the Japanese as "he`s holding a katana in both hands" , which now when thinking about this, could be read in two ways. Maybe... Ive been here so long, I feel like my English is getting worse and Japanese is my second language!  But anyway, my coworker who is Japanese interpreted the same way I did. One of the illustrators looked at the rough and description and she interpreted it as holding a katana with both hands. Turns out that`s what it was suppose to be.
